I'm ready to face facts...

Okay, I promise I'll drop the kids at MILs and look for non-Mom jeans next time I'm in the market for new jeans.

Actually, I'm trying to get away from wearing jeans so often. As a SAHM, I'm starting to feel like a bit of a SLOB, wearing t-shirts and jeans so much. I need to get back to wearing slacks and blouses more... not to mention the need for some sexy undergarments. Just as long as my thong isn't peeking out of my low-rise jeans!

Ok, EthansMom. The first step in sexy-ing things up is to realize you are way too young and sassy to be saying things like "slacks" and "blouses." :teeth:

That's why I went shopping last week. Decided it's time to dress like a grown up. But I'm not willing to give up jeans. I wear them with black shoes and a turtle neck and I feel grown up.
And the Mom jeans and a thong thing....Somebody owes me a monitor! :lmao:

I'm sure my husband would prefer leather and high heels.

How well do chocolate milk and jelly clean off of leather? My kids are pretty messy, is there any such thing as sexy clothes that are machine washable?

Jeans don't look sloppy at all when paired with nice shoes. Even simple little ballet flats can look fab with jeans... and they're comfy, too!

Are you saying my Gap jeans (which are my favorite since I can't afford to buy expensive ones...not that I would in this size) and my Grover T-shirt are not grown-up? :confused3

gap jeans rock! the only jeans i'll pay full price for!
(but I do love the pair I got for 6.97 one day!)

maybe switch the grover tee for a plain tee with a cardigan or zip up hoodie?

:teeth:

Well I need to buy my jeans at the gap because I am only 5 foot and they sell ankle, regular and long length. Now I'm 5 foot and wear a size 2 from that store. Who the heck wears a size 2 long. I mean they must be super skinny, right? If there was a surgery to put extension on your legs, I would be their first canidate. Being short really stinks when shopping for pants!!!

There is no chance in heck that you will catch me in a cardigan. It's a fitted Grover T.
Maybe a cute top from Wet Seal or Anthropologie...but no cardigans. :teeth:

Being tall stinks, too! :p

I think it must be really great to be 5'7" and well proportioned. I bet shopping is a snap for those people!

ETA...
I do have to say - I do love my "Ralph Wiggum" tee shirt...it's him, with his finger up his nose, and he's saying 'I'm special'.
heheheh love it

I'm the one who started the clique thread. Asking about it. :rotfl2:

Tell me, why did I click on this post? Do I really want to read about all your butts? And trust me, you don't want to read about mine! Really! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Hey, that's the lmao smiley--does that mean that my a, I mean my rear is now gone?

Ok...Confession time...

I've been wearing Lee jeans forever. I can't find anything else that fits right. I have a smallish waist, with wide hips (thanks to the three kiddies I had) and a flabby stomach that never was the same again after having the kiddies. The side elastic relaxed fit jeans are the only thing I can get that feels right. I hate the low-rise stuff. It does not feel right to me. I just bought a pair of Chico's stretch denim jeans. I paid an arm and a leg for them...I fit into their regular pants, so we'll see about the jeans (I haven't gotten them yet). Other than that, I haven't been able to find anything that works. It may be time to hang up my denim-wearing days.

:thumbsup2 I took dd12 shopping for me....... I got a pair of strech levi's lower waist and a flare.......love 'em.......... I also got some cute sweaters and cami's to go with....... I came home and thru out my mommy jeans!!!! :woohoo:

Look, I'm only going to say this one more time....OLD NAVY LOW WAIST BOYCUT. You will love them :thumbsup2 Don't make me get ugly ;)
