OK, I think I'm going to do it. :thumbsup2 I'm so excited I feel like a kid on Christmas eve. I have a few question about joining. I'm guessing this is the number to call:

What time is the DVC office open to? Can we join on Feb 1st or is this deal only good till tomorrw. Nothing like waiting till the last possible min. Called my friend and she is giving me a referral so I'm good to go. party: Party in my suite @ SSR.

Thats a good question becausse they said the promo ends Feb 1st. But if you decided to join why wait. You should be able to contact your guide at 9:00 am...opening. How does your friend like being a member? We recently purchased and haven't traveled to WDW yet.....Soon though...

That's the number I have too. I think I would call tomorrow too. Why wait. :confused3

Thanks, My friend is really happy with DVC she has been going with her sister & family and decided she wanted to take her family everyyear. I know I will be happy. I love WDW and can't wait to be able to go twice in one year! LOL. We took the tour last time we were there but could afford to join but now I can. :banana: I guess it was a good thing we waited because this deal is better then the last one. I have to work tomorrow and wanted to call when both me and DH was home so I was wondering what time I can call to?Does anyone know? :confused3

Our first trip back as DVC owners is on November for the Food and Wine...The kids should love the wines part....The sales department is open till 9:00 PM ....but call tommorrow in the am to verify. I remember my guide saying that she has to work late a couple days a week. Its a pretty simple process...fast and painless....

If you are talking about MY kids, it should say the kids should love the whines part...that's all they do! That is unless you are ONLY doing what and going where they like.... being in Epcot for F&W festival is not what they want to do, they want rides-Mission to Mars, Testtrack, etc. Now, I want the WINE part....
 
I just bought an hour ago, and it was pretty painless. I am SO EXCITED!!! :dancer: We have been hemming and hawing about joining for years now. This deal is pretty good. I have already planned 2 vacations since I hung up with my guide. Now I just have to see if there is room available for my dates.

My guide told me the plan from "Sales" was the end of the month, but "Marketing" advertised Feb 1. So my guide said the referral discount was going to be honored ON Feb 1. I called this morning at 9am Eastern - although I already had a guide and called him direct, I am sure DVC in general will be open by 9am if not earlier. Took about 25 minutes total time on the phone, again though I've already been in contact with my guide several times so a lot of the Q&A had already been done.

I was told that processing of documents will probably take a couple extra days due to the high volume of sales at toward the end of this incentive.
