they have some really cute christmas stuff they're slowly putting out. i saw a tree skirt and a mickey wreath that i loved.

well heck if we can use both of those then use the wifes employee discount, they might have to pay me for taking that tree topper.

Hey Dawn! Looks like you had a great time with Elvis! We had an "Elvis" come and do a show for a fundraiser for our son's Senior Party - it was really funny - we had a dinner for him and the band, and he really thinks he's Elvis! His wife said he gets up at 3am to do his hair and make-up.

You and Anna could have alot of fun "local watching" around here. It's redneck country for sure.

that's so funny that he thought he WAS elvis! what a loon. funny to hear you say it's redneck country there. don't you live in the northwest? come down here and see what you think! it's really scary sometimes what you see around here. yesterday i saw a car with a swastica painted on the side of it! (by the way, i don't know if i spelled swastica right but i'm kinda glad that i don't know how to spell it! )

i'm very lucky to have one at the mall that's 20 minutes from my house. they've closed them in lots of places. it's funny though - the one here is right next to abercrombie and fitch and as you're walking through the disney store looking at cinderella and mickey mouse stuff, you hear this constant VERY LOUD thumping through the wall because they BLAST their music in that store! i'm sure the people that work at abercrombie and fitch eventually have hearing problems!

yeah, i've had an earache since sunday because of all the smoke bothering my sinuses. if ray had his choice, he would change the name of our older dog from sherman to peyton. the whole manning thing started when peyton was at the university of tennessee. ray's a huge UT fan. so he started following peyton and that sparked his interest in eli too. personally i like eli better - i think he's more humble. but they both seem like good guys. my sister's boyfriend is a HUGE NY giants fan (he lived up north in connecticut all his life until he joined the military and was faithful to the giants and it finally paid off last year!) and every time he comes over he pets eli and says, "how does it feel to be a super bowl champion????"

Awww feel better! I've always been a Giants fan but never watched and actually cared as much as I do this season and last. I know that Peyton is really good though...I was wondering why you would have a love for Eli though, being that you live in Georgia. Eli does seem more humble you're right about that. Thats so funny with your sisters BF! Tell Eli I said hi!!

Oh and I went to the Disney outlet by my house last night and saw the 25% off everything...except there was nothing good there like you found I was a bit disappointed!

on the Swastica! We live in the "armpit" of the state, I guess. It is in a mountain, so there are mountains all around us - beautiful. It seems like all the misfits came here to hide!

I have a different Tink Tree Topper which I purchased about 4-5 years ago. It is great but very heavy! We have to insert an extra branch as a shinmey at the top to help it from being so top heavy but we love it!

we went to "worlds of fantasy." it had cars, the little mermaid, the lion king and the fairies.

well, he's an eli manning fan. i'll put it that way. he just loves the manning brothers. he starting following peyton's career when he was at UT (we're both from tennessee and ray's a university of tennessee fan) and that led to his interest in eli, too. i think they're both dorky but in a cute way. last year i got in an argument with a friend over who was the cuter superbowl quarterback - eli or tom brady. i think tom brady his a ginormous frankenstein looking forehead so i think eli's definitely cuter. girls are so silly!

not much of an update.....but at least it's something!

first off......

16 days!!!!!!!!

i had a dream a couple of nights ago that we were at animal kingdom and i looked at my watch and it was 5:40 - we only have 20 minutese left before closing and we'd spent the ENTIRE day in dinoland. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!

and i have some really exciting news to share. many of you know that my little brother is going to be a daddy in april. well, he called me last night to tell me that i'm going to have a niece!!! i'm so super excited about it! his girlfriend was thinking it was a boy but she was wrong! they weren't supposed to find out until december 17th but she fell down some steps yesterday and they went to the ER just to be sure the baby was okay. they did an ultrasound there and found out that they're having a girl. i'm really kidn of glad they found out early too because i wanted to get the baby something while we were in disney and we're coming back on december 15th, so it would've been before they had the ultrasound. she and the baby are fine, by the way.

oh, and i have to share these. yesterday we had a lazy day at home. i had some typing to do and ray was watching football all day. well, i was in the kitchen and i looked over at eli laying on the couch and he's COVERED in grass and orange dirt.....LAYING ON MY COUCH!!!!! i just looked at ray and he finally came out of his football haze and looked at eli and was like, "OH CRAP.....I DIDN'T EVEN SEE HIM!" eli has a tendency to roll in the grass outside and being that we're in georgia where there's an abundance of red clay and there's not too much grass on the ground right now, he was orange from the dirt and FILTHY!

i held him in the same position while ray went to fill up the tub to give him a bath. check out this filthy thing! he was sitting there, just chilling out, looking at me like, "WHAT????"

eli HATES getting a bath. this will teach him to roll in the dirt!

look at how dirty the water is!!!!

eli had red mange as a puppy and had to have weekly dips for 13 weeks, which made his hair very coarse and thick and he SHEDS LIKE CRAZY. yuck!!!!

one p.o.'ed doggie!

look at how his hair gets when he's wet. it looks like he stuck his paw into an electric outlet!

he hates us.

after we dried him off he ran around the house for awhile then went and hid under the bed because he was mad at us. he's such a funny dog!
