Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

Irene you have plenty of friends right here. However I think you would enjoy Facebook. You can find out some many fascinating things about your friends like:

  • What color their bra is
  • What hours Virgil is working and with whom
  • Who planted what on their farms
  • Who whacked a mobster
  • Easily share pictures and view others pictures
  • Or you could even just join, not post, and read everyones updates. :cool2:

Let's see - Red, 5 am, corn, this week the mobster was iced - not whacked and....oh pics...can't top pics....

Anyway Mary - thanks.....maybe...someday....perhaps......

Lookie a TOP -- yipppee - yeah...
Shared with Mary so Extra - extra pixie dust for Mary in 2010..

Good morning everyone. This morning when I had to take Anthony to the bus stop I had to use my defroster due to the fact that there was a serious thick frost on my winshields!!! What the hay is going on here? I'm getting a little tired of this cold weather. But as scary as that sounds, I am off to New York this weekend for a friend's Surprise 50th birthday party. So, I have to dig out my winter coat, gloves, hat and scarf for the trip. I hope she appreciates this sacrifice. It's supposed to get in the 70's this weekend in Florida. I hope it's still here when I get back. :thumbsup2

Happy New Year to everyone, by the way. 2010 looks like it's going to be a good one.

We hear rumours of a heatwave this weekend. :beach:

Ya know, you're NOT the first person to say this. All my friends that live in Florida have either texted, e-mailed or phoned me with that exact sentiment. I swear it's not my fault. I would've NEVER asked for this. One of the reasons we left NY was the cold weather. :cold:

Awww....I'm sorry!!! Every time I go to Omaha it rains, and they always blame me, but since I come from the desert, I can't see where they get that.:confused3

Hey Scuba... great photo of you and Sharon running past Cinderella's Castle on the ASI photo website... I was on there looking for pics of Christine, so I had to look you up too... LOTS of photos of the two of you- but the Castle one is really great!!!

Kiki do you have a link to the pictures?

Time to get a tally of who wants to go with Stuart Cove's snorkeling in Nassau. I'll post this on the wedding cruise thread too, but I thought I should do it here in case not everyone is checking there.

I contacted them and got this reply....I told them there may be anywhere from 12-20 of us.

Hi Stacey,

Thank you for giving Stuart Cove's the opportunity to assist you with your Bahamas vacation plans.

You will be able to do our PM snorkeling trip. We will pick you up at the port at 12:15 and get you back there by 5:30.

Snorkeling
At Stuart Cove's we have a whole division dedicated to offering quality snorkeling adventures for our guests. At Stuart Cove's Snorkel Bahamas (http://www.snorkelbahamas.com) we take you and your friends to an undersea extravaganza of living coral and tropical marine life on your own dedicated boat. In just minutes you will be swimming with schools of colorful fish in the shallows of Nassau’s famous reefs, Hollywood movie sets, or mysterious sunken shipwrecks. Each trip takes advantage of multiple and diverse underwater sites. You captain will choose two of the clearest and calmest locations to begin your snorkeling adventure. Then if the weather permits and your fellow passengers have the nerve – it’s off to snorkel with one of the most magnificent and misunderstood creatures of the sea – sharks! Sharks are one of the most fascinating marine animals you will ever see. Snorkel with your guide as the sharks swim calmly below you, or if you prefer, watch from the boat.
Trips at Snorkel Bahamas are offered twice daily (mornings and afternoons) each day of the week. Prices are $52 per person with advance reservations and $60 per person when purchased on island. Kids under 12 are $30.00.
Your Snorkel Bahamas excursion fee includes the following:

* Round trip transfers from your hotel or the cruise shop docks
* A snorkel excursion that will visit 2-3 unique locations
* Use of mask, fins, snorkel, and snorkeling vest
* Supervision by professionally trained crew one (or both) of whom is a certified as divemaster or dive instructors.
* Travel on a safe vessel equipped with for diving and snorkeling excursions with marine radio, first
aid kits, oxygen, and life jackets.
* Fresh drinking water on board.
* A cooler with ice to store beverages that you bring with you or purchase in our boutique before departure.

One item that is not included in the above, but may be necessary during different seasons is a wetsuit. We have plenty of wetsuits available for customers who want one. Wetsuit rentals are $10.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to email me again or call us on one of the numbers listed at the top of this post. We can complete this reservation entirely by email. Alternatively, you can also place reservations by calling our office. All advance reservations must be made at least 3 business days before you leave for Nassau. For hotel reservations we strongly recommend at least 3-4 weeks out (for holidays, at least 2 months in advance). We are open Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00 Eastern.

Sincerely,
Bob Kay

I found the website with the pictures from the run, but they're so tiny and dark, I couldn't tell if I saw Jim or Goofy. :confused3

Did you click on them to open them individually?

Mary - I don't have the link handy, but if you go to the official marathon page, there's a link for "official photos", then it lets you search by name.
