If you won the lottery

We love the Poly, so we would probably have to do a Theme park view club level room, or perhaps one of the suites. We did that for 4 nights in 2010, and it was heaven. My second choice would be club level at the Grand Floridian, but DH feels it's a little too formal for his taste (though he loves to visit for tea).

I love this question....

I would book the 3 br Grand Villa at the BWI and take my dad, stepmother, two stepbrothers, one sister in law, one niece and two nephews for an entire week.

I would surprise each of my stepbrothers with a DVC package and purchase one for myself to leave to my niece. That way each child would be inheriting a DVC package. They all have been to Disney World and love it, but would also like to try some of the other trips the DVC package would have to offer.

Then I would take my mom on the Disney cruise.:woohoo: I took her on her first cruise on the land/sea package through Disney in 2004; and we have been on five cruises since then.

Hhhmmm.....I would stay 2 weeks at Poly, 3rd floor Tahiti, 2 connecting rooms, cabana rental everyday, and hire a personal butler/assistant to assist with in-room dining requests, un-packing, packing, laundry, package retrieval/shipping, calling for our car service when needed.....:rolleyes1. I would then follow with a one week trip to Portofino Bay Hotel staying in a suite and using same butler, car service, etc. Followed by one more week at a private beach home with a private chef so that I can actually relax while deciding on how to spend the rest of my millions.....

If I won the lottery:

I would like to try Poly and the Beach Club. Never have stayed at a Deluxe before. So that would be heaven. Maybe some day..

:rotfl2: We've actually had this conversation in my house. We wouldn't stay at any of the resorts....instead we be buying one of the houses in that exclusive neighborhood....can't recall the name right now, I'm on my cell phone so it's hard enough typing, lol....but we'd buy a house there and live in it part of the year and go into the parks every day and eat our way around every restaurant in the World.

Then we'd probably jet over to Paris and buy a villa near that Disney property....before jetting over to Toyko and Hong Kong and buying property there as well. And maybe a little condo in Los Angeles so that we could live near any Disney property. Hmmm....maybe even Hawaii, although I really didn't enjoy the one vacation I had there....but who knows, maybe money out the whazoo would have made it more enjoyable, lol.

Hmmmm...I think the lottery this week is 247mil......yeah, that might be enough.

You and me both!!!! It's called Golden Oak. That's where I wanna live. :woohoo:

.

I've actually thought about this question. Beyond a doubt the Grand Floridian. Never stayed there before but the beauty of it always looks so inviting.

Then we would have to try all the other deluxe resorts just to be fair.

I would stay in the Club Level of the Polynesian :lovestruc. We stayed there for my son's birthday celebration and it was incredible!

OMG! We share a brain! :rotfl2:

I'd go for the MK view at CR and since I'd have a private driver in a limo I think I could give the GIANT suite at AKL a try.

The Grand Floridian. I've always wanted to stay there and the only way I'll probably ever be able to afford it is if I won the lottery.

BLT Grand Villa for a few weeks - would take Mom and MIL (plus of course DH and our kids), DS - all the people I know who could use a little magic in their lives right now!
Fun to dream! :)

If we won Mega Millions tonight , we would be purchase a home at Golden Oak . This is our plan . Have a magical day to every Disney fans .:yay:

I have a tad bit of experience when it comes to this topic. ;)

We stayed at the Polynesian for 2.5 weeks right after our win. This was done for several reasons. One, we simply love Disney and love the Polynesian. Two, we needed to "escape" for a few weeks while the dust settled down in our lives. We needed a moment to take stock of what was happening and Disney was just always our relaxing destination in the past. We had stayed at the Polynesian in the past, so it wasn't that it was a "new experience", but it was nice to go and not have any of the same financial limits. :goodvibes

We have looked briefly at purchasing a home in Golden Oaks, but really love where we live now. It was important for us to keep our children rooted and grounded and we stayed near where we lived prior. Maybe a home in Golden Oaks is in our later future? :)

Good luck to everyone if you play!

I would absolutely buy a home in Golden Oak. I would also stay in the Cinderella Castle suite, Animal Kingdom and club level at the Poly. My dream of all dreams is to stay at every single Disney resort at least once. I desperately hope this can happen before I'm a goner! :goodvibes

I think if I won enough money to pay off my student loans  I'd probably be able to afford all of the above haha...we'll see in 2022, but then again both of my kids will be in college then so lotto it is!
