If you have been dreamed at DLR - Post here!

Okay, here's my dream story! FINALLY!

I was dreamed: Right in front of the petrified tree stump in Frontierland.

At: It was around quarter to 10AM.

And my dream was: Fastpass Lanyards.

Here is my story: DBF and I got to the park at opening and were walking from Splash and were going over the bridge that goes over POTC to Tarzan's Tree House and for some reason I looked over the bridge towards Frontierland and I saw the Dream Team in front of the dead tree, I stopped and was just staring, and DBF was all "What in the world are you looking at??". I grabbed his arm, and yelled "let's GO!!" and I started briskly (very briskly) walking towards the tree stump, and poor DBF was just walking like he had NO idea what was going on. I said "Dream Team! Dream Team!!". I was so worried they were going to run out as soon as I got there, so I was motioning for him to hurry up. But as I got closer, I saw one Dream CM pull out a TON of DFPs, so I slowed down and waited for DBF... There was 2 CMs handing out the DFPs and one CM telling everyone congrats.

I was dreamed March 23, 2007 at about 11:30 am outside Snow White's Scary Adventures. We got the dream fastpasses, but since they give you Dream FPs for both DL and DCA and we had only one-park tickets for DL, we got into DCA for free! It was amazing.

I was dreamed at: Jumping Jellyfish
at 11:00 am ish
and my dream was a $500 shopping spree at World of Disney!
Here is my story:
I had just taken the little ones on Jumping Jellyfish and went back to the bench to meet hubby (he does not ride the jellyfish.) We were waiting for a parade so he says do you want to go on the Jellyfish again, kids YES me NO. So I go back on again (dragging me feet). As we are ridding I notice the dream squad, then I notice they have a video camera, then I notice they are taping us!
Off to the dream lounge where they told us our prize.
It was a great prize :cool1:

I've won dream FP's five times at these locations:

Nov 2007 - DL in King Triton's Gardens
Nov 2007 - DCA by Jumpin Jellyfish exit
Feb 2008 - DL by lockers
April 2008 - DL in the entrance to the Castle
June 2008 - DL on the path between the Castle and Carnation Gardens stage.

We were dreamed with ears in Feb 2008 at gate betwen FL and Big Thunder Ranch trail.

We were also dreamed with VIP Aladdin seating in April 2008.

Good times! :thumbsup2

I was dreamed at: Turtle Talk with Crush
Time: First show of the day, right when the park opened
Dream: Fastpass Lanyards!

My Story :My fiancee (shyboy72) and I had planned a trip last year in the
middle of June. We were at DLR for a week and were totally stoked to try
and get dreamed. By day three, we were completely pooped about it because
nothing had happened. By the last day we were just trying to have a good time
and I had wanted to watch Turtle Talk the WHOLE time we were there; there
just wasn't enough time to do it. So the night before we made a point to go to
DCA right when it opened and watched the show because we had to leave the
resort at 4. We were going to change our mind and not go, but a CM said I
would regret it if i did !! She was so right ! We didn't get to use 'em all b/c
we had to leave, but they were a great memory !

I got Dreamed Twice This time:

First was A DCA. I was waiting for The Hollywood Pictures Backlot to open with four other people. A MAn walked up and asked if we were gonna go on TOT. Then he lead us to a velvit rope, handing it to us and we got to open the whole land and go into the ride queue and go on the ride alone first, it was very cool to be on the ride alone, and walk through the hotel alone.

I also got dreamed while getting off of Big Thunder and i won the silver mickey ears when i exited!

My family was dreamed with mickey ears on June 23 by the snow white area by the castle.

The funny thing is we were in line for the matterhorn and they were handing out ears at the exit, but we were about 15 people too late from getting them. My daughter was really bummed about it, but then about 5 minutes later we were walking through the castle when she takes off around the corner and shouting at us to come. The two guys handing them out were some of the nicest cm's we had encountered during our trip. It made the day even more magical!

I think these count as dreams:
Upon checking into my standard room at DLH, My daughter and I were upgraded to a king room with a pool view. 5th floor- it was great. Then they brought out balloons for her 16th bday. We were only scheduled to stay one nite, but there was a note with the newspaper the next day asking if we wanted to stay another nite for $129. The note said we would need to switch back to a standard room, but when I went to the front desk they let me keep the same room!!

Thats soo great !!!

I forgot to mention that upon checking in, they gave my daughter a set of 3 pins to start trading, then on the second night, they gave her another set of 3 pins to trade. So by the end of our trip she has 6 new pins (She bought a Lanyard)- then while looking for a special pin of Tink, a female cast member said she didn't have any Tinks, then went out back and brought one to her. A different female cast member at another store also didn't have any Tink's, she told us to wait right there. She went out back, came out with something in her hand. She got the store to sing "Happy Birthday" to my daughter and then gave her a special limited edition Tink pin. It was pretty fancy with nice packaging!!!

We just got back from the most AMAZING week at DLR, which says a lot as I have been going there literally since it opened all thanks to the most amazing Dream Squad Member! First we were there during DIsney's birthday week and the lines were all short!!! While DH and DS were on Screaming in DCA I went to pin trade with a Dream Squad member up by the corner near Soaring and the Store. We got to talking and she asked if I was there alone, I explained where the rest of my family was and I couldn't go on Screaming as I had just gotten out of the hospital with a virus in my heart so she asked what I wanted to go on and the next thing you know she and I were riding Soaring together. When we got off, she asked what my favorite thing was, she asked me to wait a second and she came back with preferred seating to Fantasmic! By now, DH and DS had joined us, I introduced them to my new Best Friend, she asked them what they wanted to go on and we walked over and walked onto ToT! We said our thank you's and good byes and asked for my phone number as we were staying through the weekend. An hour later, another Dream Member came over and while we were pin trading with him, he said he had Billy and the Hill Billy reserved seating for us! We thought it wasn't going to get much better than that until the next morning we were awakened, on DLR birthday no less, by our Dream Person who asked us if we could meet her by Walt's Statue later that morning, that she had found something we "might want to do". We met up with her, and after Hello's and hugs she asked us to follow her, she had a surprise. We walked down Main Street to the Train and found ourselves being escorted intoour own private ride on the Lily Belle, Walt's private train car which is usally reserved for Presidents and Royalty to ride in. We rode around the entire park sitting on the furniture that Walt and his wife had picked out himself and listening to the amazing stories such as the one about Henry Kissenger coming into the park and dressing as a vendor selling ice cream with a name tag that said Hank just to "get away from it all". When our train ride was over, she once again asked what we wanted to go on and soon "the boys" were on Space Mountain and the Bobsled. THis wonderful, amazing lady called us everyday to make sure we were having a good time and then called to make sure we got home safely and asked us to let her know when we were there again so she could meet up with us!!! I still am pinching myself over what this wonderful lady did for us and although we will never forget all of our dreams, the best dream was the friend we made!
Oh and we do know from other that FP were given at 10:30 at the Toontown roller coaster, and at 9:30 at Snow White, and on a different day at 9:00 and Haunted mansion and at around 10:30 walking back along the pier to Toy Story Mania (if you haven't done this attraction yet-it is a must!) If I knew how to post pictures I would but definitely even if you are an "old timer" like me your dreams still can come true!:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

How awesome for you and your family! Sounds like a trip that will be hard to beat! I'm wondering if we had the same Dream Team member in April. She was the greatest lady and just spent so much time talking to us and trying to figure out what she could give us that would enhance our trip. We ended up getting Aladdin preferred seating. I think she would have done more for us, but we were there without our families (ladies only trip). She kept saying, it's too bad you didn't bring your families with you . . . (hint, hint). Anyway, I am completely blanking on her name, but she was this short little thing with dark hair and a sparkling personality. She used to work concierge at the GCH. Any chance we had the same DT member?

You've got mail!!! Wasn't sure whether I should post our Magical Dream Person's name on the Boards but she is definitely the stuff Dreams are made of. Our special times truley came from her heart!!!

Hi Hi

Happy Saturday:goodvibes

We were dreamed in Feb. 2008 while standing in the Princess Fantasy Faire line to see the princesses.:wizard:

A castmember came up to our family and leaned down to ask our granddaughter who was wearing her Princess Aurora pink costume... "Is Princess Aurora Your favourite?"..and she grinned big saying yesssssssssssss! We were then given a special card and told where to go at what time and we were taken into a private meeting with Princess Aurora and Snow White. Our little granddaughter had a long time alone with them and we got to take alot of pictures. It was really special.

Have a Beautiful Day!:flower3:

How wonderful and exciting for your grandaughter. And how nice for you to be able to share that moment.:cutie:

So has anyone gotten or known anyone who has gotten either the $500 Disneyland shopping spree OR a stay at one of the three Disney hotels (not counting the Dream Suite in NOS)? Or even a trip to WDW? Those are the big ticket items and I wonder who is getting them. It seems like the majority of people are getting Fast Passes and ears.

I wonder how the CMs determine who they are going to give what to. I mean I wonder, when the CM's approach someone on their own, if they try to engage the guest in brief conversation to sort of get a sense of their background to determine what kind of prize they give the guest. If people approach the CM's for prizes, I would guess they would probably just hand them some ears. But, I mean, I wonder, for example, if the CM's encounter a family of six people and the mom mentions that that this is their first trip to DL because they haven't had the money to go until now and they had to save for five years, etc., etc., then will/can the CM take that into consideration and give them a two-night stay at one of the hotels because they want to help them out? I would almost think that the CM's would try to avoid engaging in too much chit chat because you could really get caught up in everyone's stories and want to give everyone the big prizes! That is what I would be doing if I were part of the Dream Squad - I would be listening to everyone's stories and getting emotional and would want to help everyone!

Also, do the CM's in the Dream Squad carry an unlimited number of Fast Passes each day, but, let's say, only ONE voucher for a hotel stay or only two vouchers for a $500 shopping spree? I imagine there has to be a limit on the big prizes they carry with them, or more people would have mentioned receiving them!

We were dreamed at the bridge between Fantasyland and Frontierland at approx. 8:10 AM, Tuesday July 15th. Our dream was fastpasses.

Here is my story: This was our 2nd MM and since we had been the first people into FL on our 1st MM and had really gone to town we had decided to bypass FL and go crazy on Space Mountain. Imagine our dismay when we made it to SM to find it shut down. :sad1: We headed to the Matterhorn but lines were already pretty long due to SM closure so it took nearly 20 minutes to ride it. I went back to SM to see if it was up - no go. By this time, our MM was nearly all gone and FL was full up so we decided just to wander for a quick bakery run on Main Street and wait for Frontierland to open up to ride BTMRR (the kids' second favorite DL ride after SM). As we approached BTMRR, we saw the Dream Team walk past the entrance and behind the fry wagon. I got very excited figuring they would dream the 1st or 2nd train but as we exited (first train!) they weren't there. I was disappointed and figured the 2nd train would be getting dreamed when DD 11 said "look over there!". We turned around and saw them handing out the FPs on the bridge. We trotted right over and got some! Totally made our day since we felt a bit bummed about not really getting to take advantage of our 2nd MM. As it turns out, if Space had been open, we likely would have still been in TL and wouldn't have been dreamed!

This was a great day to have them because lines were LONG everywhere so between the Dream FPs and our thorough milking of the FP system, we got to ride Indy 3 times that day, SM 4 times (after it finally opened) and BTMR 4 times as well as at least one trip each on our other choices (Pirates, JC, HM. etc) We also made sure to get over to DCA and ride Soarin and GRR each 2-3 times. Kids passed on Sceamin' and none of us wanted to do TOT (I know, I know...) but DH and I made them wait while we did Screamin'. They are 11 and 13 so we felt safe leaving them down on the pier to watch us "take off".

We used all of the tabs up except the TOT ones and because neither my niece or I cared for MM when we rode it the day before only DD and DH went on that. Full and exhausting day but LOADS of fun! :goodvibes
