I'm a believer!!! I used them for my whole family last month while we went on a 12 day vacation. Each person had their own color and I loved how organized it kept me as we lived out of suitcases for nearly 2 weeks. Best purchase!!!

they look interesting, what are the advantages? I pack for me and my 4 1/2 year old twins. (I let everyone else take care of themselves, lol)

I bought these for a 3 week trip around Europe since it involved a lot of traveling around, short hotel stays, etc.. They were handy and I have used them ever since. They hold up well also, I've had mine for around 10 years.

Ok, you have me interested - but without seeing them, I can't figure out how many could fit in a standard sized (large) suitcase... For a long weekend, I usually pack my large suitcase with all of my clothes, plus my 3 kids', then DH packs all of the diapers, wipes, etc. in his suitcase. I might pack us in two suitcases - my large one plus one that's medium (I don't think it's considered a carry on anymore.)

Do they sell these at a brick & mortar store anymore?

I got the set of three with three different sizes and I was shocked at how much each bag held. A set of three would easily fit in a standard suitcase. And yes! They are always on sale so def don't pay full price.

My brother in law travels internationally 3-4 times per month and I saw them in real life when he was here recently. He swears by them too!

I could not agree MORE!! We bought them for a 2-week trip to Europe where we stayed in 4 different hotels and my DS was staying in a room with my MIL. At each hotel, all I had to do was bring his ebags into his room, open a drawer, unzip the ebag and he was unpacked and organized. Then zip up again when moving to the next hotel.

We also used them on a split BC/CR stay in August. Again, made unpacking and packing so easy. LOVE THEM!

We usually unpack our stuff into the dresser at the hotel. I mean this not obnoxiously at all - I just am not sure I understand what the purpose is. Is it because we unpack? I've heard they are great and wanted to buy them :) but my husband wanted to understand why...TIA!!!!

Because they unzip on three sides you can place in the drawers just as they did in the suit case. Makes re packing easy too. I keep bathing things in one, the pants capris and shorts in another. T-shirts, tanks and tops. Socks and underwear I use a gallon ziplock.

It's really nice to order for each person a different color, no digging through stacks in drawers. It just seems to make sense, fit nice, and less chance to forget something.

I think the hardest thing is to explain how well they work. When you use them the first trip, it just makes sense and you wouldn't want to travel any other way.

We use ebags packing cubes also. It is amazing how much you can put in each one. I can usually put 3 - 4 days of adult clothes in one large cube...the outfits are matched and you don't have to think...you just get dressed. We unpack when we get to the resort and I repack the empty cubes each morning while everyone else is getting ready (after letting the clothes air out overnight). It makes for a quick repack before departure.

But the best thing is...if TSA rummages through your bag your clothes are not disturbed in any way because they can see through the mesh on top and can just lift them out of the way.

Love, love, love the packing cubes! Especially for the boys. Each has his own cube, color coded. For me, my workout gear goes in one, bathing suits in another...easy peasy! These are great for keeping drawers organized, straight from the suitcase! Love!

I have been using them for the last several years and LOVE them! They make things so much easier.:thumbsup2

I love them because you can "unpack" without taking everything individually out of your suitcase and putting it into the drawers. You simply take the ebag out of the suitcase, place it in the drawer, unzip it and, voila!, you are unpacked!

As I mentioned, we did this on our last trip to WDW. We arrived at BC, got into our room and I was literally completely unpacked within two minutes - and then off to EP! Love them!

OK, so you guys are totally responsible for the spending spree I just went on ;)
We go on quick family trips several times a year in addition to visiting all of our family who are out of town. AND we're headed to Universal and Disney for a total of 9 days in December. I've been wanting some decent pieces of luggage; especially since DH has to fly periodically, too. Anyway, I ordered a set of the ebags wheeled duffels and a bunch of the packing cubes. I did make sure it would arrive on a day when DH has to work late, so I don't have to explain why we NEED them! I think these are going to my my life so much easier when we travel!

I love packing cubes. I have a set of the eBags slim cubes and a set of small/med/large cubes from a company I think is called TravelWise? (I don't have them in front of me.) I also have some organizational bags and a toiletry kit bag from Eagle Creek that are all really well made.

These things don't seem like they help much when you first see them, but they're great for organization and do help maximize space in your suitcases.

Ok - I took the plunge and bought 2 sets on ebags today. I hope I won't be disappointed. They were on sale and I went through ebates for 12% cash back.
Can't wait to try them out - might have to go away for a weekend just to try them out before our trip to Disney in January. :)

I'm intrigued as well and was wondering if y'all think the set of three large is good for a family of four. I was thinking one for me, one for DH and one for our two boys.

There's no need to unpack while using the packing cube. Just put the whole cube into the dresser. They're breathable anyway because of the mesh. No need for your clothes to touch the dresser. It's easier to re-pack too. Well, I have the packing cubes by Dot&Dot which are double sided. So I place the used clothes in the reverse side. When it's time to re-pack, I just grab the cubes and place it in my luggage! And yes, you'll get amazed by how much clothes you can pack into one cube! They also have packing folders which I also love.

Maybe there are videos on YouTube on the size and packing. I know I bought 3 sets, different design for dd then I had, and set of med in orange. I think I had two bags in each for tops and bottoms and one bag for bathing suits, and night wear, then a gal. Ziplock for underwear and socks.

Zipper cosmetic bag that opened and hung from the door. Plastic bags over shoes with a few extra ziplock gal size and loose trash size inside the shoes.

I have two very small kids (1 and 2 yo...eek!) and it just kept me organized. And made replacing so easy. When we went on our 12 day vacation I didn't unpack the cubes. I kept everything in them and just moved those out of my suitcase. I had one cube with nighttime stuff/jammies), one with swim stuff (everything needed for the beach/pool), one with sweaters/jackets/socks/undies-for my kids). It made finding things very quick and easy. I'm also a crazy one and do laundry on vacation (love DVC!). So when laundry was done everything went back into their respective bags.

I was never rifling thru drawers or misplacing clothes. Which is a huge plus for me!
