if you could only do one park....

I'll have to agree with those who say MK. I can't imagine a trip to Disney without it - I would really feel like I was missing something! I went with DH to a conference in March. We originally had only planned one day in the parks and, while we considered Epcot because we don't usually spend much time there, we both settled on MK. As it turned out, we bought special passes for conference attendees that admitted us to the park around 2:00 p.m., so we ended up getting 2 days for just a little more than a 1 full day pass and went to MK and Epcot. MK was still my favorite day, though.:lovestruc

Epcot, Epcot, Epcot! Do the attractions in Future World, stroll around the World Showcase....can't beat it.

I would probably pick AK, but since you went twice on your last visit, then it has to be EPCOT. Great place without kids.

Most of my favourite ride's are ay Hollywood Studio's (Rock 'n' RollerCoaster, Tower of Terror) But one day i would choose Magic Kingdom just for Wishes.

if I have only one day, Magic Kingdom always wins. Always. The only time it might not is if it were a day when it was going to close very early, like for a Pirate and Princess Party.

SSB

I feel like this as well, but without the kids WOULD be a great time to do EPCOT the way only adults can. Good luck and have fun!

Last fall I took my wife for 5 days and spent time in every park. But the best day we had was definitely in Epcot. We spent some time in Future World and rode Soarin' several times. We spent most of our time in World Showcase. We were able to take everything in without our kids anxiously leading us on to the next attraction. We spent time in almost all of the shops, sampled different foods, and had a couple of adult beverages as we slowly made our way around. It was by far the best day of the five.

If I had the kids with me, MK, hands down. BUT without the kids, just DH and I, we would definitely choose Epcot. We would spend lots of time in the shops and restaurants of WS, enjoy just wandering around looking at the architecture and the fountains and gardens, and watch all of the live performers without the ever present "Mom, I'm boooored, can we go ride rides now?"

I'd ALWAYS pick magic Kingdom!!! That's where the Magic begins.. it's always the first park I go to. I'd go by myself if nobody wanted to go with me... I just LOVE that park...

Epcot hands down. Epcot is my fav park. I think that seeing all the different things in future world (which also has some of my fav rides), and then all the countries in World Showcase is great!

totally agree.

My DH and I have already had this discussion and here is what we said:
With kids= Magic Kingdom-because the kids really love the rides and there are plenty of them.

Without kids=Epcot-because it is so peaceful and the food is wonderful.

Even without kids (we don't have any yet) I'd still say MK. Like others have said, there is something so magical about MK that you can't find at the other parks. I don't think I would truly feel like I was in WDW without going to MK.

I do love World Showcase and can see how with kids it wouldn't be as relaxing, but still, given only one day, definitely definitely MK!

I agree with most; for one day it would have to be MK but EPCOT is a real close 2nd choice.
The magic for me is walking down Main Street and taking it all in; nothing else can duplicate that feeling.
MK has more rides and attractions for the kids.

Equally, we all enjoy International Showcase and Future World.
Without a doubt, MK and EPCOT are our 2 favorite parks.

tough choice...if you are big ride fans I would do MGM...other than that .....I would probably choose..Epcot. So much to do..walk around and take in all the countries...lots of shows and rides as well.

If you want to be young at heart...do MK

maybe you should wait until you wake up and see what you feel like
