Over the years, the parks have lost a fair number of attactions. Some, like Mr Toad's Wild Ride, were replaced by other attractions. Some, Like Universe of energy, were redisigned. Others, like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, simply closed.
So today your phone rings. Its Micheal Eisner! He explains that, in an effort to boost his sagging popularity, he is going to rebuild one attraction from the past, but he only has enough money to bring back one attraction. Knowing that you are such a Disney park fan, he is calling on you to decide what attraction to bring back.
So, what attraction will it be and why?
I would chose to bring back Horizons. Walt was always interested in how we will live in the Future. Over the years we have lost the House of the Future (Disneyland), The House of Future Living (Post show of WDW Space Mountain) and finally Horizons (Epcot). Horizons was a great, slow moving, animatronic dark ride (my favorite type of Disney ride and a dying breed). It showed a hopeful view of the future and a humorous view of the past. I miss this kind of attraction and would love to see it return.
So, what do you think? Mr Eisner is waiting for your response.
