If you could bring back one closed attraction, what would it be?

I know that I've ridden Horizons, but for the life of me I can't remember much about it.

On the other hand I remember clearly Mr. Toad and wish my kids could have gone on it.

Horizons would be the attraction I would bring back. MSEP the parade I'd bring back. Since I'm pressing my luck with a third wish, I'd settle for a cd of "If You Had Wings, had wings, had wings:earsboy:

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. It's probably because it was one of my favorite rides in 1957 when I first visited Disneyland.

I vote Mr Toad. It is a great ride.

Then Tapestry of Nations, a wonderfly uplifting parade, I listedn to the music yesterday, as a matter of fact.

Then I vote for the original Imagination, the one they have now is really lame.

I liked the original Universe of Energy, I call it ELlens boring universe, now. I liked Horizons, but it needed a face lift, instead it got a lift off! The old GM ride was fun, but I do like test track.

20K leagues was so hokey, it really reminded me of what Walts vision was.

But I still vote for Mr Toad, that and Peter Pan are the only reason I go into Fantasy Land.

Oh and mkcp91, when Soaring is open, you will have the orange smell again, and some others. It's a really great ride.

Awesome thread!

Here's another vote for 20,000 Leagues.

When my family visited the Magic Kingdom in 1976, it was one of the most popular rides there. The line to get on it was endless, and we really wanted to go on, but didn't want to wait (no such thing as Fastpass back then).

Late one day in our visit, a bad thunderstorm hit where everyone ran for cover. We waited it out in a gift shop near 20k, and as soon as the rain let up a bit, my dad hustled us into the 20k line. We were on the ride in no time, and so glad for it! If it weren't for that storm, we'd never have experienced it. :)

I am shocked at how many people liked 20,000 Leagues...I did not like that one...it was so fake...JMO.

Horizons, World of Motion and Carousel of Progress...sorry could not pick 1.

the alien encounter. i guess its not a ride more of a show type thing. but i personally loved this and even though it is not for really small kids, neither is space mountain or the tower of terror. they should not have closed down the alien encounter just because it couldnt be done by all visitors. but they have to keep in mind, neither are some of the rides that are still open.

Another vote for If You Had Wings....and now that song is stuck in my head!!
And definately a vote for CoP to STAY open! That is my absolute favorite.

HORIZONS!!!! I'm so glad that DH and I got to experience that ride back in 98 when we celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. We have a great picture of the two of us kissing on our anniversary sitting in front of the Horizons sign! :love2:

My vote is probably tainted-
20,000 leagues was one of my childhood favorite movies...

I wish I could have ridden Mr Toad's-
it closed before I could convince anyone to ride it with me.
The boys were "too old" and the girl was "too scared" to ride it.-

AHH!! Now I remember Horizons!! Definately bring it back! I loved choosing the way to go "home." :)

Anybody got pics of Horizons or Mr. Toads Wild Ride?
Don't remember either one..

I loved the Skyway in MK. It was so quiet up there and you could see all the activity going on down below. I still miss it.

Oooh, I forgot about the original Imagination. I never saw it, but have seen a video ride-through and really wish I could go back and ride that one, too.

And another vote for Tapestry of Nations again. :)
