If we do the special MYW dining package withe free dining and we get free magical express- how does this work then if we are going on a disney cruise after our resort stay- how much do we need to pay for our cruise transportation if disney is paying for the resort part? I hope everyone is getting my question- we are arriving on august 23rd and going to WL with disneys magical express and will be departing on the 28th with disneys magical express back to the airport but have a cruise that day so how much will transportation cost us round trip from airport to cruise then back to airport?
THANKS

If you haven't purchased your cruise transfers yet (or even if you have) you can pay for DCL to pick you up at your WDW resort. The cost from the airport is $25 each way, and about double if picked up from a WDW ressort. So, it's about $50 pp from MCO to the port and back, and it would be about $75pp from WDW to the port and then the port back to MCO. Definately worth it if not renting car.

If you've purchased the DCL transfers, it's $59 per person round trip. They pick up at various resorts at Disney World, so you wouldn't have to go all the way back to the airport. So for the $59 you would have transportation from a WDW resort, to the port and then back to the airport.

Depending on how many people are in your party, it's sometimes less expensive to do a rental car or even a car service. For instance the average luxury sedan service (4 maximum) is $210 for the ride from the resort to the port and then back to the airport. With tip, it's about the same as the DCL bus, but you can set the pick up time and perhaps spend another hour or two at Disney if you wanted. To save even more money, you could take the Magical Express back to the airport and do a one-way rental with Budget. That's the least convenient option, but would end up being the least expensive. You could drive down to the ship from the airport and drop your party and their luggage curbside, return the car to the Budget terminal near the port and take their shuttle back to the ship. When you get back from your cruise, you can get the shuttle curbside, go back to Budget for another car, drive to the port, pick up your party and return to the airport. In total, that option would average you around $100 for the car, gas and tolls.

As an FYI, there is also a Disney cruise line forum on these boards. If you have a chance, you might want to take a look over there too. Here's the link, Disney Cruise forum.
