OMG Jenny that all sounds fantastic and doing the cruise at the weekend saves tons of points right :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 It totally saves points. It will be our own 3 day GG. I bet dollar for dollar, our Cruise will be cheaper than a 3 day GG. ;)

Actually, Jon has been having some more medical issues...and I decided it was time to be close to his docs. So, we're moving! :faint:

:goodvibes You are a good mommy!

And hush yo' mouth! I"m not the marryin' kind. I have children out of wedlock like it should be done! :rotfl2: And no...no more births for me!

:lmao: :rotfl2: Tru dat.

Hmmmm...surprise #1 may have something to do with the purchase of a new "home"! ;)

DVC :yay: DVC :yay: DVC :yay: Am I close? :rotfl2:

That's what I was thinking! DVC!!!!!! :cool1:  :cool1:

I knew it!!!! So do you reveal it in your trippie? popcorn:: What resort??????

So onto some dining..........

Now that we'll have 8 days on the DDP instead of 6, it opens up some options for us. As of now I am looking at:

Narcoossee's or Flying Fish or Cal Grill (again). I am really trying to stay away from eating anywhere we ate on our first trip for no other reason than I'd like to try new places. The problem with this, is that my tastes are the same and find myself attracted to places we ate. The Cal Grill was the best meal during our last trip!!

Kona Cafe. I will try the macademia nut pancakes. The Tonga Toast looks like a brick of poo.

Tony's. We ate here last trip and I loved loved loved it. Lady is my favorite and the food and atmosphere were really good. I think is this one of the most understated TS. I cannot imagine not going to Tony's. It felt like home. :lovestruc

LTT. Jenna and I both like this idea. It's not your typical buffet/family style menu and I think the kids will get a kick out of the history theme.

Chefs de France. Keith raves about this place and after looking over the menu, rather intensely, I think it looks good too.

Le Cellier. We blew this off during our last trip due to Joshua winning our first Dream but I'd still like to try it. It's not a total must but I'd like to try to get a dinner ADR.

San Angel Inn. Jenna loves San Angel. We were thinking about lunch before having the DDP for 8 days but now we may do dinner. The menu looks good, not great.

Rose and Crown. Seeing a trend? Epcot wins for the best food choices. I love English food.

Boma. Here is my issue though.......I am really not a big buffet person. There, I said it.

'Ohana character breeakfast. The kids have wanted to do a Lilo and Stitch meal since our last trip to Disneyland forever ago but this is another buffet. :scared:

I am thinking I should have one TS planned for each park but am having a really hard time with finding one for AK. Yak and Yeti doesn't look all that great. For MGM there is either Sci-Fi or 50's and they both look so-so.

Any insights/suggestions/concerns/comments? :worship:

It might be easier to say where I have tried but do not want to eat again. Not because they were bad because we've dun it:

~ Coral Reef
~ Mama Melrose
~ Chef Mickey's (this one was bad)

I will reveal something...;)

And my 2 cents on dining:

Try Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Totally different than dinner...much better.

AND you must do Boma's. Trust Jen. Just trust.

:scratchin Hmmm, you have given me food for thought. Get it? Food for.....'eh nevermind. :rotfl:

Boma for breakfast or dinner? The beefy eggy cheesy milky thing looked kinda good. A Jew's delight- NOT! ;)

PM me which resort. OMG, lemme guess, you bought it with the mutha.

:worried: I hope Jon is doing okay. I am worried now.

And speaking of kiddos with medical issues. About a month ago I contacted our state rep's office to see if they could help with my insurance mess. We emailed back and forth a few times. Well yesterday I get a call from the rep's office saying that I shouldn't have any more issues with BCBS paying what they have agreed to pay. BCBS gave the reps no reason as to why they would deny multiple times and then pay 7 months later but when I asked the rep if I could call next time this happens, he said: there shouldn't be a next time. :faint: It took him one phone call to do what it has taken me almost a year and a 2 inch thick folder to do and not as successfully I might add. :woohoo: Next we have to reapply for her meds in August as her current auth expires July 31. I am geared up and ready to go! :furious:

Now for CS................

I am really wanting to try Wolfgang Puck Express, Cookes of Dublin, and Earl of Sandwich but I just don't see us spending that much time in DTD. For the parks I am looking at

MK: Harbour House and Casey's Corner. We ate at Cosmic Ray's last time and while the portions were huge, DH didn't really like it.

MGM: TS Pizza Planet. I think MGM offers the grimmest dining choices all around. Is there something I am missing? We had backlot Express last trip and the burgers were good.

AK: Pizzafari. We ate at Pizzafari last time and it was good; the kids loved it!

Epcot: Yorkshire Fish House (if we don't make Rose and Crown), Cantina de San Angel (if we don't make San Angel Inn), and Yakatori House. I'd also like to try one of those Grand Marnier slushies but forget where they sell those. :confused3

By the 5th day of our last trip we were so burned out on chicken. The CS places seem to offer a lot of chicken dishes and by the end, they all taste the same. Again, maybe I am missing some hidden gem.

Boma for dinner honey. You won't regret it. Trust Jen.

And Jon will be okay. We are having some cardiac issues as well now. But, hopefully, nothing we won't be able to manage. It's just better to be close to the docs and not 3 hours away...KWIM??

As for DVC...I'll spill here...since we are a small and close-knit group.

AKV...still finalizing how many points...WITH the motha. But, she will be using her portion of the points elsewhere...:faint:

OK...as for CS:

DTD: Wolfgang's is wonderful. I'm not joking. And for the portion size, it's worth the money. Plus, they have waiters who bring food to you AND fetch you junk. So, it's more like a TS with the prices of a CS. Try the chocolate chip cookies. Trust!

And Earl is GREAT! Soooooo delicious. Lots of Jew friendly dishes. :rotfl2:

MK: We love Casey's. Can't go wrong there.

We tried Pinocchio Village Haus this year. Steer clear! BLEEEECCCCCHHHHH!

MGM: We love Pizza Planet. :thumbsup2

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons has a HUGE variety for everyone. And it's delish. There is a grilled vegetable panini that makes me drool even now! :rolleyes1

I do trust, I do, I do, I do! The menu looks interesting. I have been reading the dining reports and it looks like one of the best buffets.

::yes:: I totally KWYM!!! Being closer will lend you some peace of mind for sure. :goodvibes

:faint: OMG!!!!! I love the looks of AKV!!!!!! Seriously, it looks amazing!!! I am so excited for you. :hyper: :woohoo: :dance3:

Why will the mutha use her points elsewhere?

Oh honey. We will be changing insurances soon. Say a little prayer...::yes::

:worship: <---------- Me praying. Is Jon's condition not considered a pre-existing condition? Investiagte that first please not that you haven't thought of it....:)

:thumbsup2 Sweet. You had me at waiters fetching you junk! :cloud9:

And Earl is GREAT! Soooooo delicious. Lots of Jew friendly dishes. :rotfl2:

But are there friendly Jews? Ba dump bump! :rotfl2:

MK: We love Casey's. Can't go wrong there.

Yeah, I agree. Even though we'll be on the DDP, I am not looking for most bang for the buck per say. Yummy food is more important to me.

We tried Pinocchio Village Haus this year. Steer clear! BLEEEECCCCCHHHHH!

::yes:: I agree. Not the best. Now watching the IASW boats rocked the hou-ouse however other than the Figaro fries, it was so-so.

MGM: We love Pizza Planet. :thumbsup2
:smokin: Sweet. Joshua wanted to eat there last trip but we simply ran out of time. He loves the TS gang.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons has a HUGE variety for everyone. And it's delish. There is a grilled vegetable panini that makes me drool even now! :rolleyes1

We tried Sunshine Seasons last trip and I remember it being good. We'll just have to stay away from the chicken this trip. We OD'd on fowl last time.

:thanks: for insights! I am really into finding places that offer something other than chicken nuggets and the like for the kids.

:faint: OMG!!!!! I love the looks of AKV!!!!!! Seriously, it looks amazing!!! I am so excited for you. :hyper: :woohoo: :dance3:

Why will the mutha use her points elsewhere?

It is actually an awesome deal. A week at one of the world destinations during high season is only 160 points. So, Australia, Hawaii...etc...in a one bedroom is only 160 points. She can use her points for that...while I use mine to go "home"!

:worship: <---------- Me praying. Is Jon's condition not considered a pre-existing condition? Investiagte that first please not that you haven't thought of it....:)

It is a pre-existing condition. However, since I'm moving, I have no choice but to change insurance companies. AND...BCBS is already covering his meds. Hopefully, we will have no issues. That's my positive thinking talking!

But are there friendly Jews? Ba dump bump! :rotfl2:

When my motha was there...not so much! :rotfl2:

::yes:: I agree. Not the best. Now watching the IASW boats rocked the hou-ouse however other than the Figaro fries, it was so-so.

I didn't even know that was there until this trip!

:smokin: Sweet. Joshua wanted to eat there last trip but we simply ran out of time. He loves the TS gang.

The pizza actually is really good.

You guys are going to have so much fun!!!

You guys are going to have so much fun!!!

:goodvibes I have no doubt! I just adore Jenna et al. I am really looking forward to seeing them in Yellowstone which has been moved to August now. To make a VERY long story short, DH is unable to take any scheduled shifts off so we had to move the date to one of his 4 packs (96 hours off) in order for him to not have to take time off.

This weekend we are going camping; tent camping. :faint: But they have potties at the campground NOT porta crappers. :lmao: This is where we are going:

The City of Rocks near Burley, Idaho

http://www.nps.gov/ciro/

http://parksandrecreation.idaho.gov/parks/castlerocks.aspx

DH planned this trip with co-workers from AirMed so it should be fun. The ones I have met are really cool and don't do the drama like they do at the FD. Whoda thunk :firefight wives would enjoy some level of drama? :confused3 Anyway this should be really fun.

guess where Im going this weekend? CAMPING! At Ute Lake...which is a large lake about 2 hours from here!

Tent camping. With potties. And stagnant water!

:scared1: Stagnant water? Shoot me Amadeus!

Why are you going camping? I know it's not your favorite thang to do ;)

For any of you reading along and thinking: why is the world is this girl so excited and posting like a suirrel on crack 330 days before her trip, allow me to share some photos to help explain. These were from our first trip to WDW in 2007:

Narcoossee's
We're dining there in August, David wanted to try the lobster!

Rose and Crown. Seeing a trend? Epcot wins for the best food choices. I love English food.
We've also got tons of Epcot meals booked, good job our favourite park is Epcot :rotfl2:

'Ohana character breeakfast. The kids have wanted to do a Lilo and Stitch meal since our last trip to Disneyland forever ago but this is another buffet. :scared:
Jenny it's not a buffet, it's family style so they bring it all to your table, we're also doing this in August so I'll let you know!

That's fantastic :woohoo:

We loved Earl and Pizzafari, as Jen says WGPE has waiter service and the portions are huge, will all your kids be classed as adults on the DDP by then?

As for DVC...I'll spill here...since we are a small and close-knit group.

AKV...still finalizing how many points...WITH the motha. But, she will be using her portion of the points elsewhere...:faint:
:yay: :yay: :yay: So does that mean I can't spill on TFW or your TR? :rotfl2:

I have no doubt! I just adore Jenna et al. I am really looking forward to seeing them in Yellowstone which has been moved to August now.
My Mum was in Yellowstone 2 weeks ago, she stayed with friends (her partners cousin) who live in North Dakota and in the 2 weeks they were there they drove through 6 states, I know she did N and S Dakota and Montana, not sure which else, she bought me home some milk duds so that's all I'm worried about :rotfl:

:scared1: Stagnant water? Shoot me Amadeus!

Why are you going camping? I know it's not your favorite thang to do ;)

I have no idea. I think I agreed to it when I was drunk! :confused3 I have never been "real" camping like this. In a tent...2 hours from home. What if I get eaten alive by some rogue bear or something??

We're dining there in August, David wanted to try the lobster!

:yay: Oh good. Let me know how you like it!!!

We've also got tons of Epcot meals booked, good job our favourite park is Epcot :rotfl2:

Epcot is a great park! We definetly want to spend more time in the World Showcase. We barely scratched the surfice on our last trip.

Jenny it's not a buffet, it's family style so they bring it all to your table, we're also doing this in August so I'll let you know!

Please let me know. It looks like tradional breakfast fare so we'll see.

We loved Earl and Pizzafari, as Jen says WGPE has waiter service and the portions are huge, will all your kids be classed as adults on the DDP by then?

Holy crap! Chloe will be an adult by then! :faint: Add $160 to the budget before the tips. :duck:

Did she love Yellowstone?

Lovely photos Jenny, so you're getting excited huh, I hadn't realised ;) :rotfl:

I know, I am so mellow and reserved. :hyper:
