can I touch the reservation if it is put in my name ? I own DVC but want to secure the reservation rather than pay and wait for transfer of points.

Transfer of point should be pretty speedy I would assume. Get an owner that will transfer and pay them via paypal and the points should hit your account very quickly..........

You can not call and make any changes or speak to MS about that reservation since it is under another member's account even though it is in your name. The owner of those points would have to be the one to call MS and add ME info, add/remove DDP, make any changes to the reservation, etc.

if it's a rental, no. you can't touch it and have no control. can't even confirm it with MS.

if it's a transfer, then you would control the reservation.

Paypal is very easy to sign up for. Unless something has changed in the last month or two it's free and no fees for people sending money.
