I've never facebooked, myspaced or twittered. I don't even own a cell phone. It's amazing how life continues to go on without that nonsense. :thumbsup2
While I do own a cell phone, it's usually off in my bag. I have to check it once in a while to make sure the battery is still charged.

Other than that, I'm in the same boat as you. No facebook, myspace or twitter. Life is good! :thumbsup2

It would be a huge blow to my professional life. It's become the #1 way we network, advertise, and publicize ourselves. I would be upset over that - it would seriously affect my line of work.

It's also been a great way to keep in touch with family scattered around the world and I would miss that interaction, too.

I would be really upset. I've connected with so many relatives and classmates through facebook. I don't spend a lot of time on it, just a few minutes here or there but I do enjoy catching up.

Would I be lying on the floor screaming "SWEET MERCIFUL HEAVENS!!! MY LIFE IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"? No, but I would be upset a bit.

I agree, I have really enjoyed getting back in touch with a lot of friends that I havent seen in years. I do spend a lot of time there chatting though

I would be upset. A PP said something about it being cliquish...I dunno, maybe to high schoolers, but for me, I am 30. I don't care how many friends I have or how many friends anyone else has. I use it as a way to keep up with friends and family and it really has made communicating with everyone so much easier. Not mention being able to share photos easily.

ITA. My nieces and nephews are all adults with their own families now and I have siblings who live out of state. I love checking in to FB to see what everyone is up to and see pictures of their kids. Plus, like Scotlass said, I have some friends from the Dis and from other parts of my life that I keep up with through FB. I would miss them if FB went away. (:wave2: Scotlass!)

Wanna come with me when they shut down Facebook and I go visit Scotlass, uninvited? ;)

I voted happy..

I'm addicted to Facebook and would really like my life back. I need an intervention.

I'm a little TOO addicted to facebook... Maybe it should shut down for a little while. :rolleyes1

I am the same way...just being on the internet is a huge time waster, ever since I joined FB, I have lost even more time.

Not a Big Deal for me, if it closed up, as I have co-workers that are My Friends that I see everday anyway, and the People I went to High School with, I have NOTHING in Common with them, so I IGNORE them.;) My DD and DS are on there, but I see and talk to them anyway.:confused3

I really liked it for about a week. After that, it's become a big old headache for me. Yeah, I'd be happy if it was outlawed. :thumbsup2
