I Saw Mommy Kissing Goofy Claus - Dec '09 - DAY ONE, FINALLY (2/20) - PG# 40

Sounds like a great weekend!! lots of fun...
I love the lilly firework, great shot!!
Madi's faces are too cute....Ashton closes his eyes to smile when you try to take a photo :confused3
Have a great day!
:wave2:

LOVE THE TENT!!! and the car seat...and the big girl reading the UG!!! :lmao:
Ya'll are all so lucky!! even the ones with the escape artist!!!

It is all my fault, and I KNOW IT!!! :headache:but, Ashton sleeps with us...he says his bed is for Chloe (the little girl I watch) he always had raspy breathing so I always slept better with him on my chest and well now our bed is HIS bed!!! He was born with a heart condtion that we just DX this past year; so he always sounded asthmatic...
I even converted it to a toddler bed; I put him in his bed and he usually wakes up about four hours later calling for me...but, he waits for me to come to him :confused3

Madi has been such a fun adventure in parenting! She's a hoot! Madi was a co-sleeper for a while. Then she got too big and was all elbows and knees, so we gave her the boot :lmao:

haha, love it- glasses and all! she is such a cutie!!!

She loves to get a hold of my glasses!

Love Madi in the reading glasses. It's never too early to get the kids started on the UG. That's how you raise a Disney pro. Madi is on her way.;)

Love the Dumbo picture, both past and present. And even if all the kids got blue ribbons (which was nice) I think Madi's is the "real" blue ribbon.

Stink eye. LMAO

I, like you, missed out on Disney as a kid. And - I, like you, am not going to let that happen to my kid(kids? maybe someday) - not now that I know how feasible it is!

Yes, Madi was the real winner

And if you say: "Hey Madi - give DaDa the stink eye" - she does it on command!

I love the picture of Madi with the apple!! I really think that is a great shot. I'm more or a photojournalist style fan and this just looks like her, if that makes an sense. Like "hey there's Madi doing her thing while picking some apples"

The stink eye is my favorite thought!! :lmao: I guess every kid has a face like that!! I love the Dumbo costume, and I think it's adorable that there is a parade with all the kids. I wonder if there's anything like that around me. I'm sure there is and I just never thought to look because there are no babies in our life yet. Something to remember for the future, LOL along with crib jail...err tent.

You have me all excited for our fall festival this weekend. The Oyster fest is this Sat and Sun and we really want to get there.

And I love the fireworks shots. I'm really going to work on getting some good Disney fireworks shots this time. I have a fancy camera and I plan of bring the gorillapod. I'll keep my fingers crossed!!

I like getting "off" pictures too. It shows who your subject really is and the moment they are in!

They also had a pie eating contest for the bigger kids and adults. I am sure when she outgrows the parade she'll be interested in the pie eating contest. My friend's son did it and got 2nd place for 10-13 age group.

Have fun @ your Festival and good luck with your fireworks shots at Disney!

We really did have a great weekend! Kids are so much fun! Even when they won't let you get that perfect shot!

Yesterday the crown on my left of the top center tooth fell out. Just fell out in my mouth. I have an appt with the dentist tomorrow morning at 8 and I am quite nervous. My dentist can be a real prick! I have recruited a friend to accompany me to the appointment so that may deter him from being quite so prick-ish.

Wish me luck! I uttered the unthinkable last night... I told Shamus I would cancel Disney if my tooth is not in... it would never happen (canceling the trip or not having a tooth in there in 2 months), but it slipped out through my depressed tears... I hate anything and everything dental related...

all you need to do is pack and you'll be ready to go!!!
it will be here before you know it!!!! :yay:

Enjoy your day because I can hear it is already a great one!!!
:wave2: Connie

sorry to hear about your tooth... hopefully it will be quick and painless and you'll be smiling again soon!!! sounds like you need a new dentist!!

Those pix of Madi are too cute! I especially love the one with the glasses!!! We did punmpkin picking last weekend, too. I am going to do a post about it maybe this weekend. (I have to load the pix on the computer!)
I am so happy for you that you are PIF!!!! That's awesome! We are on the "extended a week or two past the due date" plan!! LOL We have to wait until Justin's last October check to PIF. Oh well! It will happen!
I am so sorry to hear about your tooth! That would upset me terribly! I agree with getting right to the dentist and with not wanting to go to Disney without the tooth!!
By the way...Justin says he can't believe that you are a Sox fan and like Manny!!!
And, I love your fireworks pix! I'm hoping to really get some good ones this time in MK!!!

And...as far as not going to Disney...don't even think about it! You have a very important breakfast meeting on December 9th!!!

CONGRATS ON BEING PAID IN FULL!!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: Isn't it just the greatest feeling!?!?!?! It's getting so close!!!! Only 19 more days for my and then I'll be at 30 day mark!!!

Oh no!!! Cancel Disney!?!?!? Never, NEVER, NEVER!! I too have uttered those awful, terrible, cringing words in moments of distress. Don't worry, everything will go fine at the dentist. I had a fear of the dentist because my childhood dentist was so mean to me and I hated going. But I found a very good dentist in my adult years, he's so good I was even able to let him pull my wisdom teeth out (top 2) after a ton on novocaine and a couple of whiffs of laughing gas for confidence!! Just think happy Disney thoughts while you're in there!! Also, what helped me was I put my ipod on and blasted the music so I didn't have to hear the nasty dentist noises. Download some happy Disney tunes!!!!!

Paid in full:banana::banana:paid in full.
Ah that is the best feeling isn't it? It takes loads of the shoulders and ups the excitment level.

Sorry about your tooth, big bummer. I feel so bad for you, but, it will be ok.
When Reese was 11 she fell out of a wagon and broke her front tooth off the day before pictures were to be taken at school. We couldn't get a dentist appt for a couple days, so I told Reese to smile with her mouth closed. Well She used white construction paper and made a fake tooth. Imagine my surprise when I got her pictures back. I called the school and told them I wanted a retake, when I brought the pictures back to school the next day they could not believe that the photographer would have even allowed her to be photographed like that, it was hideous. Anyway, The dentist fixed her tooth and you can't even tell.

Shamus just started working on a "rate" job (he does Heating & AC) and his paycheck was more than doubled. I said "done, and done!" - paid off Disney and threw $300 into the spending money! WOOHOO!!!

Clarification... I do NOT like Manny, I hate him more... maybe not more, maybe equally to Johnny Damon. I have a shirt that says: I Support Two Teams - The Red Sox and Anyone Who Beats The Yankees!!!

I am super excited about being paid off! Now we can save money to spend at Disney - Save to Spend, I say!

I just got my final invoice from AAA in the mail today - balance $0.00!!!

That is by far one of the funniest stories I have heard about a tooth! Too bad you didn't keep the picture, it could have been submitted to Ellen's "Horrible Paid For Photographs!"

Thank you all for the well-wishes and good lucks for my dentist appointment today. It did not go how I would have liked it, but I have a tooth in my mouth and my dental records and xrays in hand. The dentist is a shmuck, a lowlife and a HORRIBLE "professional."

I would rather not relive it (again... as I have had to for numerous friends this morning curious as to how it went) so, just know that it is fixable - by a new dentist - and that there will be NO cancellation of Disney - EVER!!!

::exhale::

Oooo, these are some good ones. I'll have to see if I can come up with some obscure ones. I thought about hours, but the number would be so terrible big I think i would die if I actually knew how many hours left to Disney. The closest I got was how many commuting hours and work day left.

There is a lot you do that I like and admire!

I don't have a set schedule... otherwise I would be able to break it into work days... I suppose I could break it in to DF paychecks... We will see 7 more paychecks from DF before Disney!

Congrats for being paid in full! When I got my statement from Disney where it stated "paid in full" this week, I was so excited (apparently, if you make changes and they send you out a new invoice, if you are indeed paid in full, it actually says it on the invoice).

Congrats! I was able to relax a little and start buying things I need--like a couple of pairs of pants that are not work pants, lol. In other words, I needed khaki type pants that were not appropriate for high-heel wearing.

I need to do some much needed shopping - for myself! My daughter has more outfits for Disney than we have days!

Awwww, that's so sweet!!! Really, that means a lot, thanks! I would like to take the opportunity to tell you I really think you are a great mom and I think Madi is really lucky to have you as her Mommy!! You know, since we were sharing the warm and fuzzies!!

Paychecks!! That's a good one too!! I get paid once a week so it's 7, DH gets paid every other week so we'll have 3 and then one that will go in right before we get home, which will be nice to have waiting there for us!!

ATTN: Rainforest Cafe Fans/Diners

$10 off $25 meal coupon available at www.rainforestcafe.com! No restrictions on it that say you can't use it at Disney!

Awesome tip!! We won't be dining there but I wish I could find one by me here. There must be one, I'll have to look!!!
