Not only do they ship within 24-48 hours even without Prime, they have a nice selection in house, they pack things nicely and you can return things within a month within reason and they don't argue. I bought a watch from them that looked nice in the pictures but turned out to be a clanger. Returning it on Monday for the money. Don't even need to package it. Just take it to the post office and they'll wrap it up for you!

they could use some MAJOR adjustments to their shelf stable grocery services. I get that there are strict laws prohibiting returns of food products but amazon makes submitting a request for replacement or refund on an undelivered or received damaged grocery item a horrendous time consuming process. maybe if they put some time into putting as much care with packagine grocery items as they do something as far less fragile as a hardback book (one single piece of paper in an oversized box filled with glass jars vs. the hardback wrapped in bubble paper with additional large bubble inserts inside the box) it would'nt be as common an issue.
