I am pretty much in love with mine. I use it at work. And have consequently been laughed at a LOT. People kept looking over and going "Is that a Snuggie?!" But, I am not cold anymore! I used it as my work Halloween costume - I was the snuggie wearing lady from peopleofwalmart.com.

I am going to buy the Slanket for home use. It looks a lot more plush and fuller.

I am sitting here laughing till I cry. Slanket! That word just strikes me as super funny for some reason.

DD wanted to get me one of those for my birthday, but to me they look uncomfortable, at less than 100 lbs. I could easily get "lost" in it, and I could just see myself tripping over it or getting it snagged on a door knob or whatever..

The doggie Snuggie has several Velcro tabs across the back that hold it together. It's easy to put on them, and it stays on very nicely. She seemed to like it.

I think the snuggie for dogs is the cutest thing ever! But if I tried to get my doxie/beagle to wear one, she'd bark and howl for the whole neighborhood to hear and then stomp her feet and tear it off. She has a real problem with dogs wearing clothes...

lol i have the Slanket which is the higher quality version of the Snuggie. i love it! altho....one of my cats has taken it over, lately. i usually lay it out on the back of the couch at night when i go to bed and everytime i wake up, he's there laying on it .......and i feel bad for making him move so i just let him sleep on it lol

i have the slanket and i love it! the material is definatly a lot better. it's like an actual blanket not just a fleece throw.

Funny story, DS never watches TV and only shops at the mall for himself so somehow he missed the whole snuggly thing.

He was invited to a college gathering last year at the school he was attending. He took a couple of friends with him and they went.

He came home concerned there was some kind of strange cult because a bunch of big guys showed up about an hour into the the night wearing these blue robe things. He had never seen or heard of them before and wondered what kind of cult wears blue bathrobes backwards. We still tease him about it.

I did get DD one of the leopard ones for Christmas!
