Ok. I'll have to pick one up the next time I'm at the store. I'm thinking DS will really love pressing pennies. I think it may be a suitable distraction from many of the other things he may want.

EXACTLY!! Our DS is really into the "prize" stage. He likes to go shopping and get a "prize". He doesn't have cheap taste either so I am hoping the pennies and letting him put them in the container and stuff will help!

I'm also hoping that it will help DH not give in to everything. Pretty much every time they go to the store together, G ends up with something. Usually it's something small (matchbox car etc)....but Disney kind of lacks in the something small department.

The list is looking good. That is so great that you are able to stop at the grocery store on the way to the resort. If I end up staying onsite in November, I am still trying to figure out how to get a trip to the store in. It saves so much money to have basic snacks and drinks. I guess I could order from one of the grocery stores if I have to.

Which Canon camera did you get? I just got the Powershot A3400 for DD - it was on clearance for about that price. It seems pretty good so far. I have a Canon G9, so I'm partial to Canons

I got the Canon Power shot A2300. I like that it is little and I like the point and click. So perfect for us.
Believe me I am an "overachiever" when it comes to getting ready for vacation! Everyone in my family makes fun of me!

Hello!!! Sorry it has been a while since I posted an update! We are at 36 DAYS!!!! I'm excited!
Well, when we left off I was on the search for some tennis shoes for the 3 of us. I found DS & I some but still none for DH.

I have started thinking since groceries would be cheaper here at home that we may buy most of our snacks and pack in a suitcase and then just buy cokes on our grocery stop before the resort! Then on the way home we can use that snack space for souivners!! Sound like a good plan?!
We also got a new stroller for DS for the trip. We got a first years jet and I must say I LOVE it!! The handles are tall so no bending over to push as we are tall people and it has a small storage bin on the bottom as well! I may try and find a clip on cup holder for DS to keep his drink!

I bought all the travel size things we needed this week along with some lysol. I also got a small thermal tote to take to the parks but I am in search of the cool packs to go in it still. Wla-Mart only had the large ones. We plan to take drinks in it to the parks to cut down some cost!
Any ideas on where to find the small ones?

On another note:
My sister is still undecided on the trip in October. She said to take pictures of Shades of Green when we go and she would decide then However my nieces and both wanting to go so I think I can talk her into it! Also, if we do go we can make ADR's on April 9. I really am thinking I want to book a BOG ressie just incase!

Next Update will be the ever so great checklist again and what we still need to do!
Also, I have not caved and started packing yet...Can you believe it?!

I love bright sneakers for the spring/summer and I love getting new shoes!! Pink is my favorite color also!!

I would absolutely book a Be Our Guest ADR if you have any possibility of a trip. Worst case scenario, you have to cancel it.
