I need help! Pirates pictures?

Painting is the only thing he doesn't like to do but for this room I bet he'd make an exception.

Seriously, we need pictures of this completed and even "in progress" pictures as the murals go up.

I have no clue which area you are looking for pictures of - which is pretty funny since I have been on that ride about a hundred times. In any case, I have many photos from POTC. I will just post them all here. Hopefully 1 of them helps you.

Btw - If by any chance you are located in the So. Cal. area, could you PM me your painter's contact info? My husband and I got engaged at the Eiffel Tower and have wanted to hire someone to paint a mural on a wall in our house, but have not found someone we are happy with. The work you showed pictures of are wonderful.

Let me know if these pictures work - if not, I can dig through the digital files and see if I have others.

I think it's difficult to take any pics on Pirates. The CM's always announce: "No flash photography" when you board the ride. I've sat next to people who have seen me take out my camera and say nasty things like: "You better not take flash pictures!" and they give me evil glares. I try to do it anyway but my digi cam wont' take good night/dark shots unless the flash is on.

Okay, I can tell you for sure that I do not have a photo of that, and here's why...

As you come down the falls, when you get to the bottom it is one of the SURE spots on the ride where you WILL get wet. Therefore, my camera is tucked under something until AFTER that moment. So I have pics. before that moment and after. That is probably why it is SO difficult to find a shot of it. Sorry... I hope you can find it somewhere. Your room looks amazing.

It is hard to get a good pic in that area. If you use a flash the colors wash out and you can't get a good pic. But if you don't use a flash you get a pic that looks like you went through the ride at about 100mph!! I thought my search was over when a friend of mine was going to Disneyland this week. He told me he would get some great pics of the scene for me. I was pumped!!
Well he got back yesterday and I had him come over to show my the pics. He came in and says you are going to love these shots. He then proceeds to pull out his cell phone ......you should have seen the look on my face. I immediately looked for the candid camera crew. Needless to say the pictures were so small they could have been his honeymoon pictures and I wouldn't have known. I thanked him anyway and told him that I might be able to use them



So the search continues.....................

I tried to take one for you when I went 2 weeks ago. The CM actually stopped the ride and scolded me for using my flash. I checked my digi cam and it came out blurry. Sorry, I did try
