I must be obsessed, anyone planning 2009?!

We're planning on making it down first week of Dec. 2009 :woohoo: We're keeping our fingers crossed

The anticipation is killing me! I finally had to break down yesterday and just book my ressies for next year, June 12-15 ASmu and June 15-23 AKL CL. My DH just about lost his mind from my flip-flopping on the resorts and dates and he was very relieved to see I finally made up my mind.

Nov 30, 2009 here. 10 nights of nuttin' but mouse. Just 76 more weeks.

I too am curious how Stitchfans has already booked a flight.

Do tell?

I booked our flight through Priceline.com and got a decent deal. Needless to say we had to go with one stop, a lay over somewhere don't recall exactly but it is only an hour or so. No big deal. I figured I would book it now before the prices really sky rocketed big time.

soon like I said we can book our ADRs. then we are all set.:cool1:

We are!!!! We just returned from our honeymoon at Disney on May 31st and I am now planning our next "family" trip with mine and my DH's family in August of 2009. I can't wait to go back!!!! :dance3:

We are going for a week starting May 29th! Wow that is a long time away!

I'm so glad I found this thread! My family thinks I'm nuts becuase I can't stop talking about our upcoming trip for the last week in Jan 09. We are taking both our sons who will be 5 and 2, and my parents will be joining us, and it is their 1st time there!
Nobody seems to think that there is any planning to do, and when I mention it (ohhh daily...) they keep telling me that it's months away - party poopers....Anyway, its nice to know that there are others that share my obsession with planning! :yay:

I'm hoping to go either Jan or Feb of 2009 - I'm glad I'm not alone in planning it already, lol.

Now a couple of friends want me to come when they are in Orlando for training in June. Thinking I could help their husbands with the kids at WDW while they are in training. Should I make the sacrifice? WDW in May, June and Nov...... if only like were so perfect.

Let's dance, dance, dance. I booked our rooms at BWI for April 2009 for 11 days. My DH thinks I'm crazy to start with all the planning and talking. I tried showing him my pre, pre itinerary and he was like Oh it's way too early. LOL What a stinker!!! He does love Disney though, and it was his suggestion to go back again.

I am new here but thought I would throw in I am planning our 1st trip to Disney World in June 2010 and my mom is already sick of hearing me talk about it..:rotfl2:

Yep, planning my 1-2009 Disney vacation and thinking of renting points, too. I wouldn't say we're obsessed, just "organized"

My husband is the same way! We just booked a FW Cabin for 7 days starting April 19th and I am so excited I'm dancing around the house!

Haha, yep, planning OCTOBER 2009 here! My familys first trip (Ive been to Tokyo Disney)
My mom and dad are paying for myself, DH, DS(4) DS(1) and my neice(10) to go. Im so excited!!:yay:

I am planning December 2009. I do not look at it as obsession, but instead being prepared. We plan to stay at the Wilderness Lodge which is the busiest resort in December, therefore it is to our advantage to plan ahead. ;)

It's our entire family's first time ever! April 25-May 2 2009! I booked our hotel at Port Orleans Riverside, Alligator Bayou!:cool1:  :dance3:

Checking into flights now...don't want to be screwed over by the oil price effect!

Many many pages back, I posted that I was planning our May/June, 2009 trip. A trip to WDW has been an annual thing for eleven years now. But.....I had to cancel our May 29th through June 7, 2008 trip! I was just sick to my stomach but it couldn't be helped.

I unexpectedly got a job offer. More money, less work, equals less stress. Unfortunately, I had to start right away. My daughter is graduating her first year from missionary college in July so I couldn't very well tell my new boss that I had to take off for our Walt Disney World vacation AND take time off to travel to Georgia for my daughter's graduation.

So, more money, less stress, daughter's graduation equals cancelled Walt Disney World vacation.

I just started posting on the boards again. I know it sounds silly but I just couldn't make myself look at all the Disney information/posts. I am still sad.

Oh well, my new boss is super generous and loves to travel. Who knows....maybe I can talk him into paying for a Christmas Walt Disney World vacation! He has been known to pay for other employees' vacations. Even if that dream doesn't come true, I have already prepared him for the fact that come May/June, 2009, I will be gone to WDW!

I am counting down the days until the 2009 prices come out so that I can book a package.

I already posted on this thread, but had to post again. It's never too early to start, better to have an early idea and change as you go than wait until the last minute and forget something. My DW and I both talk about it and love WDW the same so all is good in our household! ;)

To date we have:

1. Decided on the resort. Pop here we come. :cloud9:
2. Decided on which TS/character meals we want to do. :thumbsup2
3. Puchased a new camera (Panasonic Lumix TZ5, what an awesome P&S camera.) :worship:
4. Purchased a new carry on bag. :thumbsup2
5. Made a pre-itinerary of which park per day based on est EMH hours & best parks via touringplans.com :surfweb:
6. Picked up some pins off e-bay for trading at the parks. :surfweb:

I think that's it. We started planning a few months ago for May 09.

Actually I have begun to plan a trip for 2010 for my family and my inlaws.
My wife has never been nor my in laws and my kids will be 5 and almost 4 then which I think is a good age for them to experience Disney World
