whats the difference? I got friends at Disneyland so i dont need any of these stuff since i get in free and i live close enough to not need to stay in a hotel.
Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is the timeshares Disney runs. At the deluxe resorts at WDW & Grand Californian & Aulani.

Like @CyndiLouWho said, DVC = Disney Vacation Club is the timeshare run Disney.

The Disney Savings Account is what was shut down. This was an online savings account that allowed you save for Disney vacations, pay for Disney cruises, DVC timeshare dues, Adventures by Disney, Special Events, Annual Passes etc. You could load it with a credit card and it coded as travel or load Disney gift cards to it. I used to purchase Disney gift cards at 5x with the Ink or at a discount and load them onto the DVA. For every $1,000 paid out of the Disney Savings Account account for Disney vacation expense you would receive a $20 Disney gift card (2% back in Disney money) and the max $500 was per account. For some people *me* this is a pretty significant loss. Between annual passes, DVC dues on 1300 points, Disney cruises and Adventures by Disney vacations, that 2% back in Disney gift cards adds up before you know it.

I just checked and I did in fact received the 2500 UR points (10x) for purchasing $250 in gift cards from Walmart.com using Chase pay. I never received an email notice about the offer, so I can confirm that it seems to work regardless of a targeted email. The 10x included the normal 1.5x points from the Chase Freedom Unlimited, plus an extra 8.5x bonus. So there is now an extra $37.50 sitting in my CSR account, all for just prepaying my Netflix and Hulu subscriptions. :)

Since eBates and Swagbucks don't offer cash back through their portal for Pottery Barn Kids, I used the Rapid Rewards portal when I recently purchased the crib. I got 406 RR points, plus I have qualified for a bonus 900 RR points. If I spend another $144 through the portal before August 18, then I could qualify for a total bonus of 2000 RR points. Not sure if I have anything to meet that spend before the deadline...

Sorry, this has probably been answered but is the Walmart/chase pay offer only good on one account or can you use it on more than one (e.g., CF and CSR).

If there is a saver award fare on United (say DCA to SYD for 40k), is that really only 40k points I would need to transfer to United? I'd be able to fly to Australia and back for under $1000?

If you are looking at United's cost for a saver award on the United website then it is 40,000 United miles. You would have to transfer 40,000 Chase Ultimate reward points to your United frequent flyer account.

That might only be one way. So check and see if there is a saver award for the return, if so then it would be 80,000 miles.

Thanks. That is exactly what I was doing. 40k to AUS and 40k back to the US. I'll have look when Aug opens up. DH and I went there for our honeymoon and want to take DS10 there.

Following up on @Jen and Ashwin's Walmart.com+Chase Pay DP, my CSR also earned the full 10x UR on a discounted Uber eGC without receiving the targeted email, not just the +8.5% in addition to whatever base points the card earns:

I went through the Shop through Chase portal for an extra 2x (I believe it's 4x if you log in through Freedom/Freedom Unlimited), but those points have yet to post. Shop through Chase points can take about a week to post, but I noticed the terms exclude gift cards so we'll see if my above purchase qualifies.

From my SMs with Chase, it appears all Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, Sapphire, CSP, and CSR accounts (not cards, e.g. AUs) qualify up to $250 in purchases (2,500 UR back).

I also received 10x UR points on my CSR though I never received the promotion email. I picked up one of the Uber cards for 10% off... I actually picked up two, because I was going to wait for someone to report back on the Chase Pay thing originally and then the Uber deal came out... I missed it last time and was so excited I ordered it and remembered Chase Pay after, so I ordered a second about half an hour later :)

This Chase Pay thing has me perplexed. Just going through Walmart, the Chase Pay button isn't even available. When I just now went through the Chase UR page, I get the Chase Pay button but then I get the message Hang on-Chase Pay isn't available for you quite yet.

Do I need to do this some other way (not on a desktop computer)? Do I need to install something else?

Uh- guys, opinions: I did the Walmart offer on my CFU, no issues, got 10x when the charge posted. Did it for my CSR and CSP. My visa gift cards were delayed in shipment but I got notice today that they've shipped and will arrive tomorrow. I go into Chase to see if the charge finally posted and it's gone. Not pending, not posted, gone. Part of me is worried this is about to become a huge headache and the other part is like "chill, the charge was pending too long so it dropped off but will come back in the next day or so". Anyone else seen this sort of thing when a charge was pending for a long time?

Do you have business cards on your personal profile? If so Chase Pay is not available to you.

My 2 free Hyatt nights posted and I was able to book Hyatt Regency Toronto for our trip to Niagara Falls/Toronto next summer. The other Hyatt in TO, the Park Hyatt, is closed for reno and is also in a more secluded neighborhood from all the major tourist attractions. The Hyatt Regency is near the CN Tower, which is great!
I'm waiting for DH's 100,000 IHG points to post shortly. I don't have any major plans for them, but I am planning a Vegas, California, Utah trip in 2019 so will likely use them at that time.

Walmart doesn't have Disney gift cards though, right?

That is such a bummer. I guess there's no way around that? Maybe I shouldn't have consolidated my accounts into one login??
If you separated them out to 2 different logins it might make your personal profile eligible but ChasePay offers aren't really worth that much hassle IMHO...

Not online. I need to turn my money into Disney money or put it directly towards my trip so I took the activation fee hit and bought Visa gift cards. My first BJs order went through fine but above reports are that it might not be so easy next time. I'll report back on my future endeavors with turning them into Disney$$$ by way of Visa gift cards - BJs online.

I have no real need for anything else at Walmart so I'm skipping the offer. (Already have Disney gift cards for next trip, will CSR the dining)
