I just used in last week at SEA coming back from France. I was the only person, so I just got to walk right up to the next available agent. There was a line of 15 people of so for Global Entry. Honestly- I don't understand why more people weren't doing it. There were tons of signs encouraging it!
dh is in Germany, coming home this weekend. Is this something he could use when he comes back?

She just got the card and I thought I had to create her account after the fact. So that lead to an issue getting her account connected to her card. On April 22 the account was created and I emailed Chase and asked them to merge her card to the account I created. On May 2 I was told this had been done. So the account is more than 30 days old but maybe I have to wait until June 2 although I don't think that is the issue.

ETA: I checked our emails and I signed up for business rewards on April 13 and I signed her up on May 21. Perhaps I need to wait 30 days from signing up for it? Her account does say IHG Business Rewards on the account page.
The terms are vague on the "account" has to be open for 30 days, but since you just use your existing account it could go either way. My expectation would be that it's 30 days from activating the Business Rewards program. In practice there does seem to have a wait period before the fee is removed so I guess keep trying periodically.

If it's still there after 30 days from sign up I'd reach out. But it's barely been a week so it just probably hasn't been long enough for the new program to register.

I've realized in montreal and a day trip to Quebec city today, Japan's konbini's have spoiled me. The lack of places to get a snack or a drink that isn't sweet or doesn't require you to sit down and order is insane. Barely any convince stores to get bottled drinks either.

Other than that it's been great 😂 I also realize this is more an issue where I am currently than other cities I've been to.

Wow. Good to know. DD used GE when traveling with friend and it was quicker than the free thing they used, but I guess it makes sense to try for both. Thanks for the data point. :)

Yikes! This was my go to drain for the fee free vgc/ MCGC when I had small amounts left. I guess I’ll have to do that at the grocery store.
Same here! But there are times when I have small amounts left on digital gc’s that I’m really unsure how to drain now. Will a Walmart Pay or Kroger Pay work for these?

I saw this too this will just make me have more closed cards I do one a year to die off maybe I'm paranoid.

Currently I have 2 Extra Tickets in my account. 6 Day PH and 5 Day PH. I think I am going to upgrade these to an Annual Pass (cost about the same as buying new 4 Day PH tickets...). So, working around DD's schedule - we should be able to fit in a few more 3-5 day trips using these. Would like to stay at Poly once - so will see if he has points available for one of our other trips.
I'm curious about your numbers for upgrading a 5 day PH to AP...is this straight from the Disney site?

So 2 months after my Home Depot purchases were broken up into 3 separate orders, the 10% CIC credit for the other 2 showed up!

Interesting comments on GE. We used it yesterday at Dulles coming from from London. GE is strictly facial recognition kiosks here, and the guy at the desk just waved us through without any questions, so no wait. had to wait for the luggage then of course.

I had called and spoke with someone at Disney. She gave me the total of what it would be to upgrade both tickets to an Annual Pass. She went by what the tickets were bought at. It was not much difference to upgrade then to buy a new 4 Day PH. Waiting to upgrade until end of June - will be going for a new Ink then...

How do you auto drain the digital gift cards? Can you add them to apple pay or something?

Anywhere that can auto drain, like Costco, you just swipe as if it's a cc and it takes the remaining balance. You don't need to know the balance.

Anywhere that let's you split payment could take it but you'd have to know the balance left to be able to do it.

The MCP app lists all the airports that have it. I used it last Thursday from St Lucia in MIA. The line was a bit longer than GE but MUCH shorter than the regular line. I filled the info out and saved it before the flight and after landing submitted and took our photos as per the instructions. Some people in line had a QR code but I didn’t. I asked the guard and he said it was new not to have a code but he wasn’t sure. There were no problems not having a code. Very easy process.

interesting..... I have a ticket I bought maybe 7-8 years ago, so price was much lower then-I'm guessing they'd only apply the amount I paid then to a new AP but it's intriguing

Hi can anyone give their opinion on Mobile Passport? Have you seen it is better than Global Entry.
Particularly coming back from Europe. I have seen some Global Entry lines on videos that surprised me.

Another DP - flew into FLL yesterday coming back from Bogota - only 1 person ahead of me in MPC line whereas GE had about 20 people waiting in line. Was probably my quickest ever trip thru immigration.

I usually enter the US at BOS and have used MPC about 5 times over the past year - my wife has GE and the times I am traveling with her I would say MPC has been as quick or just takes maybe 5 minutes longer than GE. I am amazed more people don't use it, but also happy they don't. :)

I need a 0% interest biz card that isn't INK (I'm at 5/24 until August). I was thinking I would just use my last INK I got in January as that should still have 0% until next January, but then I thought I'd rather get a SUB on a large purchase. Had some huge vet bills last month so would rather float the new charge for a few months. Any recommendations?

I was thinking DH could refer me for an Amex Blue Biz Plus and I'd earn 30K MRs (plus DH's referral bonus). But I'd lock myself out of earning a higher SUB on that card later on. When DH got his last year he got 75K MR from a targeted offer!

Was also looking at U.S. Bank Biz Triple Cash, there's a $500 SUB so that would be nice. Don't have a relationship with them, though.
