Wow! There are no rental cars to be had! I'm number 5 on a waiting list from Thursday... still no car available.
Is this through your body shop? Insurance? I can't believe you can't find a rental car, now at a price you're willing to pay is a whole other question.

That's exactly what you can do. You don't have to buy Genie+. Genie is just the access through the APP >>> My Disney Experience>>>>Genie, from what I gathered. Genie+ is what you would buy for $15 a day for the mid level attractions.

Rise is not available through Genie+ so even if you bought Genie+, you wouldn't get a fast track onto Rise or the new Remy ride or possibly any of these mentioned here on WDWMagic:

>>>>>>Although not yet confirmed, we expect the full line-up of Individual Attraction purchases to be Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog Dash, Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Test Track, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Flight of Passage and Kilimanjaro Safaris.<<<<<<<

So, you can still do standby also. No way in hell I will pay (for me) to do stuff that was free before, but it's not my first Disney trip. I can see myself paying for my grands in the future.

And, back when Universal came up with this idea, after evaluation, we just got a room at Royal Pacific. Disney is not quite so generous.
Yeah,it sickens to me to think of paying for a ride experience in this way, but I'm also thinking my time at Disney will likely be quite limited (for a number of reasons) and if I want to see a particular thing,I'll just p[ay once, see it and satisfy my curiosity.Which saddens me a bit,as I enjoyed the more old school 'just go and randomly enjoy your time at Disney parks' vibe... Over at Uni, the EP is a totally different animal than FP ever was anyway, and a night in a decently priced (and very nice) hotel got you perks that FP+ couldn't dream of. It's a pet peeve of mine when people compare FP+ to EP. Not the same thing. (EP is so cool)

Hey guys - I haven’t been able to keep up with this thread very well with how busy I have been at work. But curious if anyone has had issues with making IRS tax payments with Chase card. I am self-employed and have made my quarterly tax payments with my Chase Ink Unlimited credit card for years with no problem. But I went to make a payment today and it was declined and not sure why. Hesitant to call because I have put a ton of expenses on this “business” card with very little revenue. We are remodeling the house and paying for everything by card, which translates to multiple payments a month being made on this card recently.

I have other Chase cards but prefer to use this one at 1.5x to help cover the 2% credit card fee. I know some are fee averse, but I look at it as subsidized points instead of completely free points. It works for us.

Appreciate if anyone has some input.

I'm looking through insurance... so I'm limited.

Again I hate Barclay's. I can't log in. Did they change their website? Keeps saying can't find my account. I guess I will have to call in.

Any advice on what to do with a Citi Premier card after the first year? Should I downgrade it or just cancel? Thanks!

I think it is a decent card for everyday use- but appreciate that you can outstrip its offerings if you have the right combination of other cards. If there is no retention offer on the table, I would consider downgrading to Rewards+ or Custom Cash. Citi blocks you from applying for any future ThankYou cards for 24 months after receiving a bonus or closing a card in the ThankYou family.

Are you paying off the balance repeatedly in order to free up the credit line? In general, banks don't like credit cycling.

What I would do
1. Log into the account and look for any alerts or notices. Also make sure you haven't exceeded your credit limit.
2. If there are no issues and you have not been cycling the card, try a small purchase
3. If the small purchase fails you will need to call the number on the back of your card. Just tell them what's up, your card is being declined and you need to know why, don't go blabbing on about anything just stick to the point.

If you have been cycling the card and your card is not showing as closed I would
1. Pay off any balance on the card
2. Don't charge another dime until the statement cycles. Then try a charge and if you're still getting denied, call Chase.

If you product change it and the card number changes, that will also reset the clock. I downgraded to the Rewards+, with the thinking that it's in the same card family hopefully less chance of number change. It didn't change, but who knows if that made a difference. Citi being Citi, it's hard to predict.

Ok, thanks for the advice. Have been credit cycling quite a bit lately to pay for the remodel expenses. When not cycling, I pay the balance off in full every month. Have a hard time understanding the dislike for credit cycling. They are getting their fee on more purchases and I am paying the balance, so no risk for delinquency. I have heard that before and believe it is frowned upon in the industry, but not sure why. To me, it shows the ability to manage a higher credit limit.

I did just use this card for a small purchase and it was approved. My tax payment was not over the credit limit, but would have been close. Wonder if they have flagged the IRS payments or this could just be a fluke thing.

Will report back. Thanks everyone.

I changed the Premier to the custom the 1st day you could pc and my number didn't change. The letter they sent about the change even indicated it would stay the same and I could use my current card until the new one came.

Is it a business card? I know they’ve updated the app so that you can now see both personal and biz accounts with one log on. It’s great, but they had a lot of issue rolling it out. I couldn’t make a payment for several days and it kept saying activate card even though I’ve been using it..,. I’ll be glad when my spend is over!

Yep,it is a business card. I can’t wait to sock drawer this one.

DH‘s Delta Biz card just hit renewal and the AF posted. looking I don’t see a no AF option. Am I missing anything? “He’ll“ chat and see if there is a retention offer. Otherwise I think this one will be closed.

There isn’t a no fee option. But there is an unadvertised lower fee option. I switched dh to that last year just to keep Amex happy for another year. I think it was $99. I think.

That’s what we have - lowest Biz card with $99 AF.
