I also have a CIC that I opened in Jan 21 - that has a $5k CL. The CIU has $3K.
Does it raise eyebrows if I ask to move credit from one CIU to another CIU.

I decided to just leave the CIU open and go for it and got my first ever instant DENIAL. I'm 3/24 my last card was the CIC in Jan 21.
Should I call? Or is it better to not point out that I had CIU and was applying for a 2nd?
You could transfer $2k of the CIUs CL to the CIC, then close the CIU. I’d wait until you find out why Chase denied the card before calling…you could then offer to move credit from the CIC to the new application.

how is your total Chase CLs…business and personal cards to your household income…

I would just call and ask for a refund at the same time you close the account.

My family enjoyed Legoland. It’s definitely geared towards the 12 and under crowd, at least in our family’s opinion. I think my DH secretly enjoys Legoland more than Disney because he’s a total Lego geek 🤣 but that’s besides the point. We have only been to Legoland California, but we enjoyed our multiple visits there. The park was well kept, and the staff members were friendly enough. I say it’s definitely worth checking out.
Thank you! I’ve had no desire to go to Disney lately which makes me sad.

I should've lowered the overall CL on the personal cards before applying. It's high.

Do I get the denial reason through snail mail? Then is it 30 days before I can try again for the CIU? I might have to try a non-Chase card instead and give Chase a little rest.

You should be able to log in to your existing business account, look under letters and notices, and there may be a letter letting you know the reason for denial.

Doctor of Credit has an offer for Acorns - refer 4 people get $1000. That seems too good to be true but does anyone have an account there and a support link I could use? I'm pretty sure can get 4 people in my family with bank accounts to sign up. I need to set up an account for my college freshman where I can park some of this high school tuition money every month that I will give him as a gift upon college graduation. Any experiences positive or negative with Acorn? This just seems too good to be true.

Have any of you been to legoland with a young toddler? Ds is 13 months and we’re thinking maybe this fall/winter. We have our Disney APs and are going there in September but lately I haven’t been excited to go to wdw. Legoland looks like a lot of fun and the hotels are super cute.
We were there about 18 months ago with my brother and his kids including a 20 month old. The park is adorable, colorful and bright. It's a manageable size with quite a few things she could ride and it's never been overwhelmingly crowded. I found it a bit hot but the garden area is nice to refresh. They had an annual pass and used it a ton with their 1, 3, 5 year olds - my brother is anti-Disney so this was their compromise:rolleyes: The beach hotel is AWESOME. The cottages are arranged in circles near a lake with a breeze with a small playground in the center. If you are at all interested in Architecture, Florida Southern College is near there in Lakeland with one of the largest collections of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings in the US. It's a great campus to stroll in because he designed covered walkways to protect students from the sun ❤

We’re looking at going to the brick or treat and holiday events since Disney is doing an event that starts too late. I wish we could go to boo bash but no way we can make that time work with a toddler. I think I saw the beach hotel is closed if we plan to go October-December

Back from a week at Hilton Head (first visit). It was nice but I was unprepared for the humidity. Not sure if is normal but the first two days were melt as soon as you walked out the door humid. I was afraid that we went too early in the season and it would not be warm enough to get in the ocean. I was wrong. The water was great, though everyone said not as clear and nice as FL panhandle beaches. I did really like the way they preserved all the trees and built around them as much as possible. Just going to Publix was like driving to a resort area! We were in the north end on Folly Field Beach, in a condo right on the beach which was pretty much a requirement with a toddler who made it 20-40 mins at the beach and then wanted to go back in! I also think it was much less crowded than other areas at HH, which suited us fine. I managed to read 2 books in the week and tan but not burn! Consider it a restful, successful vacation.

We did drive by the Disney resort twice which made me think.... How do you get to the beach from there? do you have to drive or do they shuttle you? Maybe someday......

CC related: saved $820 thanks to the BOA Biz SUB and 3% back on travel. Saved $430 on rooms for travel days using CSR URs. Rest of spend went on new CIC to hit MSR.
Yep, the humidity in South Carolina... Some people say it's brutal. We're used to it. But if you don't want it to be humid, I suggest probably don't come after April. May is pretty hot and humid already.

The letter could be on your business log in…you could try reducing some of the personal CLs, then a few days later call in and see if you can get it approved

Oh my night is getting better. I can't get ahold of anyone at AA. I've been waiting for a call back for 8 hours. I'm now on hold over 45 min. I've tried twitter.

I decided to look at my August flights, they changed them! I have a 5 hour layover in CLT now. I can't change the flights online, it says call! Are you kidding me? I can't call for the flight you cancelled and now you want me to call about a flight in August?

And I love on twitter how they randomly pick people to respond to and ignore others.

I got an Email this morning saying I was approved for United quest credit card. Does anyone know the number to call to get that card expedited? I applied on June 1 so I’m anxious to get it.

Congrats!

The number on the back of any Chase card should work. You can SM too. I know for the Hyatt cobrand it takes them 48 hours to verify your membership after approval, they won’t expedite until that happens. Not sure if United is the same. I think the approval emails are usually delayed, so it might be past that already.

Please keep my sweet boy in your thoughts. He got hit today and has a fractured leg. He’ll need to go to a surgeon to see if it requires surgery. My poor friend feels awful since we are in FL and it will be a long 5 days until we are home. (And, of course, I can’t post on FB since I don’t want my friend to take it wrong.)861AECD3-53DE-4D80-9669-EBB52CBF535B.jpeg
