So sad that someone is suggesting this..but not surprised with what I’ve seen and heard here in NY
I'm confused. Is this for real? People are losing their businesses and life savings; laying off employees; and generally getting screwed by the shutdown and some buttwipe wants to game the system at their expence?
Not only is it true... but it looks like this guy is bragging about it on Reddit (maybe?? Unless I’m missing something)...

theres quite a lot of abuse already out there... it sucks.
in /r/legaladvice, there are some post by employees being told to return PPP money back to employers.

I’m genuinely confused by this Reddit guy... Is he bragging about fraud, or super dumb, or am I missing something? 🤣

I don't know where to find the rules for France, but I would definitely look for that and not for a blanket Schengen document because each of the member countries seems to be making their own entry/exit rules right now. I know DD can get into Norway because she has a residence permit but they are closed to anyone other than citizens/residents right now. I would suspect France would be the same. I hope you can find something. DD knows people still across the pond who are having a difficult time getting to the US from Europe, and I have friends who just managed to do so but it was pretty complicated.

Thanks for the advice. I think I still have a couple of weeks to submit the paperwork unless Airbnb changes their policy, so I’m still not rushing to cancel since that would only give me a credit not a refund.

I called Universal Orlando and booked our Thanksgiving trip. I booked Royal Pacific for 3 nights, but once we get closer to travel date I'll probably change it to 2 night. We only plan on 3 park days so we only need 2 nights to get 3 days of express pass.

Has anyone called the chase cruise line to book UO hotel using a discount rate?
They usually have the hotels listed right on the website if available....are you talking about UR?

I posted a few days ago about applying for a CSP, and someone had suggested my DH PC back to a CSP so he could refer me (so sorry, I lost the quote and I can't remember who- things have been super busy lately). Anyways, from googling it seems that the referral would be 15k UR's, is that right? How would it work for DH, would he just keep the card as a CSP until the AF is charged, and then switch it back? Would that make Chase mad? Any info on this would be appreciated! I remember seeing discussions of people doing this awhile back, but it seemed complicated and I don't remember the details. Maybe it was @Andysol who discussed it? For the CSR travel credit maybe? Thank you for any suggestions!

Yes the support bonus is 15k URs .....if you PC I would keep it as a CSP for a year...then PC back....but I’m cautious and would not want to take a chance on upsetting Chase....

May 9th and its snowing in MA  :confused3 Fortunately its not going to stick, but this is first time I have seen it snow in May in the 12 years I have lived here.

I grew up in MA and have been in Maine for 14 years now. I'm sure I've seen snow this late a few times, but it suuuuuuucks. We've got a solid coating up here this morning and it's just coming down, down, down...

I got 5x points on my CSR with grocery delivery through Peapod. Don’t know if they are in your area, but I actually prefer them to Instacart as they don’t mark up and, at least with stop & shop you get the sales and stop & shop card deals. I think you may even get fuel points because you can link your stop & shop card.
Apparently they removed themselves from the Midwest, so not an option. I'm mostly irritated because I put grocery spend on CF when it could have gone towards MSR on CIP

We had good solid coating last night. Most of it is gone already this morning. I am sure we have had May snow before and I’m much farther south than you. My brother reminded us he and a bunch of friends traveled from South Carolina to do the Cleveland Marathon in 2016 around this time and it snowed, sleeted and everything else on them. My family all lives in Cleveland area so he grew up in that but had been in South Carolina for probably 25 years. He was not a happy camper. I don’t think he could ever get those friends to do that race again. Lol It stinks though, I am ready for summer.

I'm perturbed our new cards aren't physically here yet. I realize we were just approved on Monday, but the hubs is out doing his first trip to BJ's and Home Depot in 2 months and I really was hoping to knock out a bunch of our MSR with his purchases. Stupid waiting for the mail... I told him to hold off on anything he doesn't NEEEEEED today so we can put it on the new cards when they show up likely next week. I got a big eye roll from that, but he'll play along.

Patience is a virtue... that I haven't quite mastered yet...

Looks like my new hilton card is in the mail today, yay!

Aleeady 68 here this morning, supposed to be low to mid 80s today and tomorrow. So excited, sorry to the snow and cold people. I just hope we get a summer this year because we didn't last year. I do like beinf home but it's not because of the weather but someday I'll move somewhere warmer again.

OK, I'm making myself crazy trying to plan in all this uncertainty.

DH is 16,000 points away from a CP (that includes the recent 25,000 extra).

We are currently rescheduled to go to Hawaii 8/1. If that trip actually happens it would make sense to get the CP before that as DS could fly for free saving us about $600 value in points.

The problem is I have no clue if Hawaii will happen. If things are open and travel is allowed we will go.

I'm also planning to book tickets on SW to Puerto Rico at Christmas. I'll book those when the schedule opens on 5/24.

Here is my dilemma...I don't know if I'll need the CP by 8/1 or not until 12/26. My strategy would be different based on those dates. If I have until December I can do a lot more organic spending than if I need it by late July.

I have a couple of questions:

After meeting the requirement how long does it take for the CP to show up in your account? If we need it by late July last cycle would close 7/5.

Also, if we use hotel point bonuses how long does it typically take for those to post? I saw the official site says 6-8 weeks but anecdotal reports say they come quickly after you complete the stay.

I can easily book a local hotel (we'd check in but not stay) and earn the points needed for about $500. If both trips happen then that would be well worth it.

If Hawaii isn't happening though I could do more organic spending and maybe a couple of hotel stays we'd actually use.

I appreciate any advice. The planner in me is losing my mind!!

Here are our possible uses for the CP if the world starts spinning again:
Hawaii August 2020 DS
October -swtich it to DD's friend and take her to WDW
Puerto Rico December 2020 DS
Hawaii- March 2021 -possibly use for DD's friend (if we choose to fly SW)
June 2021-somewhere for DS
July 2021-December 2021-????

We gotta get his head in the game lol
