It was calendar days. Once I knew out KTNs I went online to southwest.com (that's who we were flying next) and added them to our profiles and also specifically to the reservation. We didn't have any issues and our boarding passes showed precheck. The girl at our interview recommended that we call or go online and add that info if we were flying in the next month because she said sometimes the airlines don't have that information updated. I don't know if that's true or not, but I put the info in myself just in case.

When I got done with my GE interview I asked how long until I get my KTN number and he said that you get your KTN number right away. It's in the upper right hand corner. Membership ID/PASSID on the TTP dashboard. So when I applied for my kids recently I put that number in the SW reservation and they haven't had their interview yet. I don't fly until March, but I am thinking that Precheck will show up on their boarding pass.

In other strange GE/Precheck news, my husband has applied for GE, but hasn't been conditionally approved yet. I never put a number in his profile for SW, but yet when we fly a few weeks ago he had PreCheck.

I agree with @Judique --once it goes to FP and standby, watch out! It will be like FoP or TSMM way back in the day (or Space Mountain for those of us who visited Disneyland in the early 80s so many memories of running full out with my sister!)

I hope you can convince your family to go once you get closer. The last several days for Rise have been pretty darn good, with backup boarding groups lasting quite a while. It looks like anyone in the park before 8am can get a boarding group of some sort. And they've been calling more backup groups during each day.

I feel terrible that we're enjoying mid- to high 60s, sunny weather in February.

DS19 and I will be trying for a BG for ROTR on 3/17 also if I can get him up early enough. We’ll be on site 3/16-18 for a short spring break trip which is his Christmas/birthday gift.

I met the MSR on my Amex gold on Sunday. My new biz card coming will leave me a small gap between MSR’s. Hopefully enough time to use our other Amex cards for a bit.

Getting a little concerned about our Europe trip this late spring. We have 3 nights planned in Venice in June. I booked as much refundable as I could. Hoping to not have to make any changes!

Another step in simplifying my (large) credit card portfolio accomplished this morning! The AF hit on my Delta Biz Gold, so I cancelled it via chat. The rep made a token run at trying to talk me into a lower AF card, but I just said I don't fly Delta as much as I thought I might when I opened the card (which is true -- they aren't just big enough in Boise to make them reliable for any flight not going through SLC).

Yep! My son is really interested in MMRR. However, when I asked if he wanted to switch MFSR to MMRR he said no, keep MF. So we have that, TSMM and Star Tours for that day. He’s not much of a fan of ToT or RnRC. If we’re up early enough we’ll probably rope dropMMRR that day.

I love the weather we are having. It's been great for getting outside and really enjoying all the little local hiking trails. Having said that, I am concerned about what this means for our water tables.

DP for those who bought Disney park tickets through the Delta Vacations promo last fall: I was supposed to get my tickets in early May, but they arrived today out of the blue. I had bought 3 day flex tickets for DH and DD3, and a 6 day flex ticket for DD6 (before I figured out I could get 3 day tickets instead). I just called the Disney tickets line and successfully upgraded all 3 to longer date-based tickets! I switched DH and DD3 to 6 day dated base tickets, and switched DD6 to a 7 day dated PH. Paid a total of $89 extra and was able to use a gift card.

So my 2 closest Staples are now 1 per day Any other SE MI peeps have one in the area not doing this? I went to the one in Commerce (by school) and the one in Novi. I did the CIP offer yesterday at one, and put $200 towards my $15k free hilton night (Surpass) at the other. I still have an offer on my Chase Biz Checking. I was going to do the VCG for the chase offers to make them money makers...but I was also hoping to do a bunch on my surpass to get a chunk towards my free night. Can I order them online? I'm guessing there are limits online.

If my staples are going to 1 per day, I'm gonna need some other way to "earn" that free night. I could organically do $15k, but it would mean I'm moving all my spending to my Surpass. And I kinda wanted to aim to getting it with both hilton cards now.

I went to 4 different Staples today (in MA not MI) and all buy 1 were strict on the one card limit. The 4th one let me get 3 of the $200 Visas, but I know this particular store is very clerk dependent.

OT, all the articles being posted about how difficult it is to get a BG for ROTR now. My family is saying they don’t even want to try on our trip. They say they would rather wait until the next time we go and not be stressed by it all,
Bummer for me.

Don't let them get too discouraged! I think 80% of those "articles" are junky clickbait! I saw one that was posted yesterday "DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS BOARDING GROUP ISSUE" (or something like that). It basically said if your app tells you that you didn't enter the park, go to the Guest Experience Team. Uhhhhh we've known this since December!

I like your later idea of reading the RotR thread closer to your arrival. An 8am open could be a little crowded, but it's not THAT early for rope drop where it will ruin your whole day with sleep deprivation. It's worth a shot trying to secure a BG. Some lucky family has to fill them up!
