Thanks all for the responses. So if it is processes through Disney does that mean it will code as Entertainment and not be "erasable" on my Barclay Arrival Plus?
I will check in with my TA, but I have more confidence in this group giving me an accurate answer. :)
If it’s just tickets from Disney those code as entertainment and won’t work. Room reservations and packages usually code as travel. Can you make a test payment to see how it codes?

I just looked at a charge for a room that I booked back in Nov. Payment processed through Disney and it coded as travel for CSR.
Thanks @wendow, I really appreciate that!

It is a hotel package (tickets and dining plan) so I'm assuming it'll code as travel.

I did email my agent, but haven't heard back yet. If she's not 100% sure, I think I will ask her to do a test payment - thanks for the suggestion.

Ok so I'm thinking of buying my first car. (Live in NYC, usually borrow one of my parents cars if I need one) We're getting to the point where we need our own though. I'm driving to Jersey a lot for different things on the weekends. And I've also had to make about 5 trips to DC since the start of the year. We actually have quite a few URs we could convert to CB to help us with the purchase. But since we have so many savvy savers here. Any tips and tricks I should think about?
All I know is some dealerships allow part of the charge to go on a credit card, and some have found their “limits” on what they’ll charge are actually negotiable.
I bought a car at a Honda dealer in Queens in October 2018 and their then limit was $5k.

You might check the AmEx car buying service. Participating dealers accept at least $2k from Amex cards. I think you can check the list of dealers even if you don't use them or have an Amex. Those dealers are not guaranteed to take other cards, but they probably are more likely to do so than any random dealer. Also, I used the service, and then put the Down Payment on a non-Amex card.

Don't let them get too discouraged! I think 80% of those "articles" are junky clickbait! I saw one that was posted yesterday "DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS BOARDING GROUP ISSUE" (or something like that). It basically said if your app tells you that you didn't enter the park, go to the Guest Experience Team. Uhhhhh we've known this since December!

I like your later idea of reading the RotR thread closer to your arrival. An 8am open could be a little crowded, but it's not THAT early for rope drop where it will ruin your whole day with sleep deprivation. It's worth a shot trying to secure a BG. Some lucky family has to fill them up!

Thanks! I’ll keep you all posted!

I’m sure you are doing lots of research on cars, pricing... I’ve used Costco, True Car etc....My DH hates car shopping so I do it by myself knowing what a good price is and I’m willing to walk away

Yep! My son is really interested in MMRR. However, when I asked if he wanted to switch MFSR to MMRR he said no, keep MF. So we have that, TSMM and Star Tours for that day. He’s not much of a fan of ToT or RnRC. If we’re up early enough we’ll probably rope dropMMRR that day.
That’s my plan too for MMRR - either that or on our Epcot day if I see there isn’t too long of a wait we can hop over and try to get on it.

For all those who are discouraged by the long wait for GE interviews (sorry I kept reading and didn’t add the quotes as I was reading), my husband had the same problem when he signed up. He started traveling internationally extensively for work and he was going to have about 5 trips before his interview. On his first trip he just talked to them while he was at the airport and told them he hadn’t had his interview yet and they did his “interview” right then and let him use it. This is probably a YMMV situation, but worth a shot if you are traveling internationally before you can get an appointment.

He probably did Enrollment on Arrival. :)

For anyone having trouble finding a GE appointment, if you're traveling internationally, check if the airport you're coming back into has it.

Delta is allowing free changes through 3/2 for flights to/from Milan, Bologna and Venice. I think this is the first we’ve seen of free changes being enacted due to Coronavirus in Europe...
And I just booked DNiece a ticket to Florence in late April for study abroad. I hope everything blows over by then.

I realize I'm late to the game here (that's what working nights does to me) so I'm not sure whether you're talking about WDW or DL but at DL there did not appear to be any trouble walking in for Droid Depot.
And the KTN is all we need right? Do you know if that was business days, or calendar days?
It was calendar days. Once I knew out KTNs I went online to southwest.com (that's who we were flying next) and added them to our profiles and also specifically to the reservation. We didn't have any issues and our boarding passes showed precheck. The girl at our interview recommended that we call or go online and add that info if we were flying in the next month because she said sometimes the airlines don't have that information updated. I don't know if that's true or not, but I put the info in myself just in case.

I know you got your answer, but I forgot to add my KTN to my SW flight on Sunday and did it about 5 days in advance. I had precheck on my boarding pass.

My dad once told carpet cleaners that called we had dirt floors 😂 We may have still had the rotary hone when this happenedb back when you always answered because you didn't know who it was.

My mom once answered the phone and it was someone wanting to sell some sort of long distance telephone package. She told them we didn't have phones :rotfl2:

I’m assuming a popular magical travel agency would code as travel on an Arrival Plus. Anyone know for sure?
If it's the one I'm thinking of doesn't Disney process the charge? I would ask your TA.

When I used them last year, all the charges were processed through Disney.

Wow that's crazy. Here in the Pittsburgh area there's a place called IdentoGO that does TSA precheck appointments in addition to the airport and my whole family was able to get next day appointments.
This is an IdentGO location! 😞 were could get in sooner at the airport but it’s an hour away and we would have to miss too much work to do it. It’s also past security, which adds a significant amount of time to those appointments, plus $2x per hour to park.

Nothing says Halloween like MNSSHP on 8/13!

Tickets just went on sale 🤣
Yay! I finally have the school calendar and the MNSSHP dates! I can book the Hilton timeshare package I bought (and have now paid $50 extra for because I couldn’t book within 45 days). Hopefully the dates will work.
When I got done with my GE interview I asked how long until I get my KTN number and he said that you get your KTN number right away. It's in the upper right hand corner. Membership ID/PASSID on the TTP dashboard. So when I applied for my kids recently I put that number in the SW reservation and they haven't had their interview yet. I don't fly until March, but I am thinking that Precheck will show up on their boarding pass.

In other strange GE/Precheck news, my husband has applied for GE, but hasn't been conditionally approved yet. I never put a number in his profile for SW, but yet when we fly a few weeks ago he had PreCheck.
When we did our interview last year, the agent told us we’d get the email in a few days but it was approved/valid immediately.
