Anyone else getting spam popups / virus warnings (I know they are fake) when clicking on pretty much anything on these boards. I think the DIS needs to work on this...

i hate reddit. even when a link is provided the info is not there for me. i did struggle with trying for a couple of hours today. ended up finding more interesting info on the regular churning. missing my friends and their helpful comments. ugh.

Make sure you are logged in, that was an issue for me, then the links should work. You have to be logged in and a member of dischurners to see them.

i was logged in. even n the helpful link on the right to see all posts. only get stuff that i read previously. not linked stuff. tried different catagories. nada. where is the stuff that was just taken off disboards and put on churning. reddit just seems so much more difficult to manuver in than disboard. maybe i'm to old to adapt.

The part where he mentions 355 days ... do I need to move my timeline up for booking? I was looking at 330 days originally but since I'm new to this, his post is confusing me even further. Right now I have on my calendar to check on December 16, 2019 for tickets for the 2nd half of November 2020... do I need to move that date up?

He booked directly with ANA using Amex MR points that he transferred to ANA. ANA opens up their booking at 355 days out.

You were planning to book ANA with UR points transferred to VS as a partner award. VS doesn't open the booking window until 331 days out.

You only need to move that up if you plan to book directly with ANA. Keep in mind you may or may not get lucky to find award availability at 331 days. If you are flexible it's easier.

My kid finally started sleeping in around 10 and sleeping the whole night. She turns 12 in December. Until she turned 10 though, and it was literally a month after she turned 10 she would get up in the middle of the night and come sleep in our room. I love the horrified look I get when my friends and siblings that are new parents with toddlers and infants ask when do they start sleeping through the night, and my response is 10!

I got my cip a couple weeks ago and have already spent $3500. Blergh. Admittedly I got it when I did due to known upcoming expenses. But man can money go fast sometimes.

I currently have no idea what to do next, since it seems like aa might not be an option.

No kidding. We have car insurance, homeowners insurance and life insurance all due in October. I was just complaining about it and DH says yeah you complained last year too. Well, yeah.

I'm not a spider fan because I had a nasty bite years ago. But be careful squishing them! I once stepped on one as he ran across my kitchen and a million babies ran out in all different directions. I now try to spray them instead but will still squish as a last resort.

Worst nightmare. Seriously getting creeped out just reading this.

These comments leave me generally confused. I’m not sure what you’re looking for but if you feel it’s something sensitive, you’re welcome to either a) ask on reddit or b) PM somebody here on the DIS. I’m certain that any of the DISchurners mods would assist you. Also, DISchurners only has about a dozen threads so it typically is much easier to navigate than r/churning.

HAHA! That would be nice but I’m watering a 3 ft wide strip of grass the entire length of a 120 foot driveway plus about an 8 foot strip of grass surrounding a 20x30 for basketball court. Not sure there’s a sprinkler that will achieve that better than me and my hose hahaha.

First thing after you log in, are you in the DISchurners subreddit? On my desktop in Chrome I get there by logging into Reddit and then clicking “my subreddits” in the very top upper left corner. This brings down a drop down menu that includes all subreddits I follow which has DISchurners. Now you should see a few tab options including “hot” for our hot topics. You’ll see “News and Discussuon Thread v2.0” pinned to the top in green. If you scroll a bit you’ll see our other Reddit-only discussion topics.

And I have to entertain our dietetic intern at work for the next 2 days. Bets are on as to whether or not I make her cry. Apparently I’m very mean lol and make students cry.

I don't work with interns, but I do make trainees cry. Sometimes I make the dispatchers cry, too.
