Guys, I leave for Disney this weekend and I’m so already mentally there.

And I have to entertain our dietetic intern at work for the next 2 days. Bets are on as to whether or not I make her cry. Apparently I’m very mean lol and make students cry.

Maybe I should just show her pictures of spiders all day.

Students and new grads are afraid of me too! LOL It’s nice to have the power My boss says she’s afraid of me too. People need a sense of humor.

If I product changed my CSP to a CFU what does it look like if they give me back the annual fee. Should it be -95 immediately? How many days before I should call and mention I haven’t gotten the AF refunded?

Just did this, and yes, it refunded almost immediately for us, like within a day or 2. I can't say exactly because the statement says AF refund dated Sept 1, the same day it posted, but DH called to PC on Sept. 10.

Charges he put on the card on Sept 10 are giving 1.5X points as a CFU also.

Two of mine did that often. I loved it. DH hated it. lol Especially when we would have 2 night visitors at the same time in our queen bed. They both stopped around the same time. My other DD never did it.

I used to do that but I kicked really bad so my parents started making me sleep on their floor. I slept on their floor every night for a pretty long time

I’ve never actually made an intern cry but I do freak the heck out of them taking them to ICU. They are usually overwhelmed on day 1 of ICU rotation and have the blank stare all day. I worked with one RD who was literally the nicest person ever. Every tech student or intern she ever had ended up crying at some point. No idea why.
Have fun at Disney! I’m so jealous. I actually have a 3 day weekend this week but just couldn’t pull the trigger on a quick Disney trip.

I hear you-with 4 dogs, 6:30 is "sleeping in." Hence my copious trips to Europe...

Truth. If not the kid, it’s the dog. DS has nightmares and ends up in our room. I used to take him back to his room and stay there until he fell asleep. Now I’m like, yeah just crawl in and let him stay. Lately it’s been the old dog. She used to just sleep all night (and day) but has been getting up and wandering around which usually means she needs something. A couple night ago I let her out at one, filled her water bowl around 230, gave her dry food after that. But she kept pacing with her toenails click clicking on the wood floors By then it was 5:30 when DH gets up. Of course none of this keeps him awake.

Me coming back to work today:

Me every day at work.

Oh, I had to work at it. It just didn't happen on its own. But work at it I did (including lying down with her sometimes) but all that sleep was totally worth it. I also didn't put her to bed at 6pm, like all the people I knew who did that and then complained that they got up too early or wouldn't nap. She did not fall asleep easily, and didn't always sleep through the night, but I did teach her not to wake us up early.

My sister was putting her twins to bed around 7 when they were little (they slept thru the night at 6 weeks) but was at her wits end when she noticed the last 30-45 minutes before bed were horrible with whining, crying and fighting. So she moved bedtime to 6:30. Worked great, they were asleep within minutes. However always up around 5 no matter what time they went to bed. Eventually they slept later but even at age 10 now, I don’t think they sleep past 7 even on weekends, and they are always early to bed. Even if they have a party with tons of people, the twins will go up to bed by themselves by 8:30 or 9. My DS is pretty much the opposite now. When we let him he’ll stay up til midnight and sleep until 9 though he wasn’t always like that.

Our ICU director once told me I was the most aggressive dietitian he’s ever met. Thank you. I take it as a compliment.

Our 8yo ds sleeps on our floor. He started about a year ago and he's just never moved out. We're okay with it cause he sleeps much better on our floor than in his room (shared with his brother). And he never wakes up during the night...so that is good...

Yes! It was really surprising to me how they gained so much speed all of a sudden on those videos. I think they will prove very popular and hopefully be expanded.

Yes! When they "fly" back into the station I get a little anxiety because of how fast and close they get. Never fails! I agree that they should be very popular. I am really hoping something expands to AK! I could also see the All Stars getting in on the action.

As for being a POP convert, that may be a harder sell than BWI HAHA I really hope they rethink the room categories at these Skyliner resorts. For example, those LM rooms at AoA are now prime for the Skyliner!

I did my PC Friday afternoon and the AF was refunded less than 12 hours later. It was also dated 9/1.

On the skyliner topic, I thought I had read they would not go to Epcot when they open in September, that route would open later, but now I can't find that. Am I crazy?

I believe the Epcot IG station will be open on 9/29. The Riviera station which would be a stop on this line just had CMs stationed telling everyone to remain seated before the cabins took off again.

Yes! It was so bad. I added Norton Ad Blocker on my iPhone with Safari integration and also enabled uBlock Origin as a Chrome extension on my laptop. No ads or redirects since! I also love that I get NO ads on my Disney vlogs on YouTube now. Thanks DISboards HAHA

Is this disclaimer new? I don't remember seeing it on the CP page. I wonder if people had issues so Disney wants them to call for the ADR now?!

Imho the Mouse already has me classified under “addict” and the finance companies have me under “cc addict” so I’m not really sure there’s anything left in my life for me to hide. (If these outfits were actually smart they’d know to quit hitting me with the debt consolidation offers considering the only debt I have left is a couple thousand in cheap government student loans!)

Can't answer if it's new but it's just for dining plan people, which makes sense because you have to pif when you make the adr.
