My AA points posted so I was able to book the Swan for a few nights in August! But I can’t figure out how to add the reservation to MDE. Anyone know where I find the # or who I need to call? My 60 days for FP is on Monday!

ETA: I called the Swan directly and got the confirmation number but it’s not in the MDE system yet. Hopefully it will be working in time to make my FPs!

As far as I know just keep checking your UR portal itinerary and it should eventually show. My trip is in August, I have confirmation numbers for Hilton, but not the other hotels we'll be using on this trip.

Tagging @StephPlum since I forgot to insert quotes.
Thanks. I'll keep looking. My trip is in August as well

I don't know about booking with AA, but when I booked a Dolphin room with Bonvoy points I couldn't link it until the following day.

Thank you! I ended up calling the Swan directly. They gave me the number but said it probably wouldn’t be able to be linked until tomorrow. I’ll edit my post to reflect that.

I can't remember where we stayed, but it was years ago. It had a "waterfall" pool inside. Are you staying in Canada? We always stayed in Canada.
Yes, want to go to the Canadian side.

We stayed at the Marriott falls view resort and spa last year in a superior fallsview room booked on UR points. View was amazing, room was average, they charged $40cad a night for parking. Allegedly you can park at the casino down the street for less, but we were only staying one night.

Going back this summer, we have friends on buffalo. Thinking of trying the Hilton. Can report back in 2 weeks.
Embassy Suites Fallsview. Huge free breakfast and amazing floor to ceiling windows with incredible views!
Just came back today from there and Toronto. Embassy suites is amazing, although we stayed at the Sheraton in NF.
Embassy Suites looks great and can't beat the free breakfast. Was considering one of the four hotels connected to the indoor waterpark. Sheraton, Crowne Plaza specifically. @Ngwira is this the Sheraton you stayed at? The water park and all the awesome food options (Hard Rock, Rainforest Cafe, Massimo's) are what's pulling me in that direction.

I'm under the impression that if you cancel the card you'd no longer be covered by the extended warranty? Have been thinking about this since we need to buy some appliances. I guess if the warranty is only 6 months and it gets doubled, then you'd be fine.

I should have been more specific. It’s more additive such that if for any reason I do keep it, then the benefit is available. Purchase protection is actually a benefit I value a bit more since my family tends to find ways to break/ruin new things :sad2:

Make sure you look at the fees. I think embassy suites might charge $80cad for parking.

There are about 3 indoor water parks- great wolf lodge which is by itself a little futher from the falls, but the wego bus does stop there.

Skyline hotel and water park. Have read this hotel is a little run down,

And fallsview water park- this is the one connected to the Sheraton on the falls and the crown plaza. This end is closer to the American falls, down by where the horn blower cruises board. It’s called Clifton hill and it’s where most the the stuff like indoor amusement parks etc are located,

The two Marriott, the embassy suites and the Hilton are located in the fallsview area. This is higher up the hill, closer to the Canadian falls. I think the hotel views are better up this way. It’s also right above journey beneath the falls and the 3D movie and you can take the furnicular up and down the hill.

This house (estate?) we’ve rented on Captiva is amazing! We have a guest house, a pool house, and the main house! Dock with a kayak, lots of fishing equipment!!

I looked at the link to it you posted and it’s gorgeous! We stayed at Sanibel twice in the past many years and would love to go back. I remember the shells on the beach were incredible and a great Italian restaurant that we ate at several times but can’t recall the name. Also a great ice cream shop called Pinochios.

It's actually not bad. I've become so bored with McDonald's menu offerings, that I actually liked their Signature Crafted items. Apparently those were too hard for them to make, and they're back to variations of the Quarter Pounder and Big Mac. So I'm looking forward to trying all their international favorites, even if it's only available for a limited time.
But he’s 10. He’s not happy with Happy Meals anymore
I can’t believe we’re doing this either. We have Woody, Duke Kaboom, Forky, and Bo Peep. :confused3
Do you have to have all the pieces? I remember trying to collect all the Minions. 🙄 We’re going to see TS4 tomorrow at 10 am and could have lunch at McD afterwards but I’m not planning on going back multiple times.
