But he could have kept his shirt on.
Yep, we changed the channel when he lost his shirt![]()
That is just the funniest term lol!Adam Levine had a “wardrobe malfunction.”
Just made a points advance reservation for the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay in anticipation of the SUBs I'll hopefully be getting from the AmEx SPG cards after the elevated bonuses come out. Would not have known about that feature if not for reading it here.I've been eyeing the Ritz for a couple anniversaries, but could never bring myself to pay the cash rate. 60,000 points, lowest cash rate is $860.
When I logged into my SPG account, saw that I had over 13,000 points I had forgotten about! It's from our Sheraton Tokyo Bay stay in June 2016. Although I'm confused how I got that many points from a stay that cost $650 USD (must have been some promotion). And why didn't the points expire after 12 or even 24 months? Does it have anything to do with the merger? In any case, it's almost like finding $100 in the couch, lol.
Questions: does the Lux $300 credit cover room charges at the Ritz? And is there anyway to see when points expire online?
I have no interest in pain either (maybe why I have only one child—never forgot that experience!) so I won’t have ink ever. If I were a different person I’d have Prov 3:5-6 in my wrist and an anklet around my ankle (duh) with symbols representing the races I’ve done- so a Mickey head with a 20; a crown; DL castle; Tink; Chip and Dale, etc . I had a lot of time (obviously) to consider it when I was running! It won’t happen because needles-ankle-pain but it kept my mind occupied during long runs
One of my DB’s four or five tatoos is my avatar- it was done so well it really is like art.
Correct - no referrals on premier. That’s why I always decline those “awesome” upgrade offers they send me lol.
Nice! I've wanted to stay there for an anniversary weekend a few times, but the price usually shows up around $900 and it's kind of cold there and maybe an hour from home, so I haven't been able to justify it ever. I didn't realize there was another way to book since I don't have the RC card. I am so sad it's no longer available.
We're about an hour away too. This will be in October, hoping for some nice Indian Summer weather.
You can still get the RC card by product changing from Chase Marriott.
Honestly I would say no lol. I’ve never had beats and I don’t think the sound quality is much different in them than other headphones. My headphones are sol republic and they’re decent. I think I use my Apple earbuds the most though
Apple and Disney have me wrapped around their fingers! Do I make a completely frivolous purchase and get the Mickey Beats Solo3!? I saw them today in person waiting for my laptop appointment and they were adorable. The price has been slashed about $100 since the initial release. I can't even say I would put them on the CIP for the MSR because I want the price protection if they dip again.
I have AirPods and I should probably just say no. I've never owned a pair of Beats and they don't really seem that portable.Honestly I would say no lol. I don’t even have wireless ones, mine are just the good ol’ wires that get tangled every time I use them lol. I might not be the best person to ask though because Dh and I don’t really buy any electronic stuff unless we have toI have AirPods and I should probably just say no. The RC Half Moon Bay sounds like a lovely redemption.
Yes, you can use the Lux’s $300 Marriott credit towards room charges at the Ritz. Last year, when Amex Offers had a $100 Off $500 at Ritz-Carlton, folks were stacking that offer with the Lux’s $300 credit by walking into a Ritz, buying a $500 gift card, and getting both the $100 and $300 credits. So that might be an option if another offer rolls around.
Marriott points expire after 24 months of inactivity. Have you earned or used any points? That includes points earned and added to your account from SPG/Marriott credit card spending.
Nice. I haven’t actually stayed there but we did stop for cocktails and to walk the grounds once when we were at Stanford for a recruitment trip. R-C was gorgeous especially with the fireplaces going. And the campus at Stanford was fabulous. That’s where DS currently wants to go for architectural engineering.Just made a points advance reservation for the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay in anticipation of the SUBs I'll hopefully be getting from the AmEx SPG cards after the elevated bonuses come out. Same for me on the pain and the one child LOL. I hate needles, too, and have other reasons why I'd never do it.
