Do we need ADRs for this place? Considering trying since we’re staying there but we don’t like being too tied down to ADRs. Any discount here other than AAA?
Il Mulino, Shula's, and Blue Zoo can all be reserved via Open Table as well as through the Disney ADR system. Open Table is very easy to change last minute.

Il Mulino, Shula's, and Blue Zoo take TiW.

Picabu, The Fountain, Fresh Mediterranean Market, Cabana Bar & Grill, Splash Grill and Terrace, Garden Grove Ca, and Kimonos give 20% off for DVC.

I need to look into TiW. We don’t do a ton of TS so not sure if it’s worth it for us.

I basically got interested in this 4 months ago to pay for our hotels in NYC and London pre and post transatlantic. I currently have 50k Hyatt points, 180,000 Hilton points, and 55k MR's I could transfer to Marriott. Now that I have the points it's sooo..... painful to part with them. LOL. I really have no choice. Hotels in NYC and London are outrageously expensive and there is 4 of us.

I’m LOL/24. My credit score is about 750 I never had it in the 800s. I think it’s because I’m young. I was getting tons of mailers for personal cards but they kinda stopped lol
Any tips on getting Biz mailers? DH wants to go to Japan in 2022 - but we are a family of 4 so need to start a couple of years early. We both already have the Barclay Biz, we got them last year. We are 1/24 & 2/24, but want to stay on the Chase Biz train too.

Hey all! Question about which is the best card to use when renting a car. We usually don’t need to rent one but are renting one for 5 days next week. I have a reservation through Enterprise if that makes a difference. (I’m totally open to switching.)
Just looking for which card would be best for insurance and possibly return on points.
Between DH and I we have
CF
CSP
SW Premier and Plus
Marriott Bonvoy Visa (previously the Marriott Rewards)
Marriott Bonvoy Amex (original SPG)
Marriott Bonvoy Business
Citibusiness American Airlines
Citi American Airlines (not business)
Disney Visa

Thanks for any help in advance 😀

I absolutely adore my TiW. You can even buy it with discounted Disney gift cards LOL

If you plan on upgrading to an AP, you really have to do the math to figure out if it is worth it instead of the regular AP discount. APs get 10% at almost all the places TiW gives 20%. TiW also automatically includes 18% gratuity. The big thing is TiW includes alcohol whereas the AP does not. TiW also includes the food courts (not mugs) at some moderates and all the values since they don't always have TS restaurants. $750 on food will break even with the $150 TiW fee. Some will say you need to spend $1,500 annually on meals in order for TiW to be better than the 10% AP. It depends on your dining style. I can easily do $1,500 in a week long trip with all adults so it works for my group. I've also priced it compared to a dining plan for my group and it always wins. I have even used it on custom cakes at TS restaurants.

We started getting them after we created AA accounts prior to flying AA for the first time ever in March. Dh's work booked and paid for the tickets. Perhaps that's why we've gotten business mailers :confused3 I also receive business email offers (dh might as well but I don't see that email).

Of course, we can't use these now because other cards are higher priority and we won't have use for AA miles until 2021 at the earliest :headache:

Could you share the mailers/emails?

I always use CSP since it covers the insurance - (decline insurance from Enterprise - or wherever you rent from)
(I also always use autoslashDOTcom for rental cars.)

I’m living vicariously through so many of you. I swear I miss Disney so much I was looking at my food photos from the last time I was there. #sob

I’m so jealous of all the passholder preview SWGE talk and I don’t even like Star Wars (like, not even a little!)
😭

CSP has primary coverage. You don't need to buy insurance.

CSP. You get 2xUR and primary car rental insurance.

I have never gotten a BIz mailer. I would look on reddit to buy one or just risk the public links.

I love the Dolphin....I've always booked the cheapest on points, and ask nicely if theres a room with a view at checkin...10 times out of 10 they've given us a nice view...once we even got this awesome huge corner room with views of everywhere!
I’ll have to keep that in mind and ask when we check in. We’re only there for the one night so I’m really not too worried about the view. I mainly wanted to make sure we got a king bed so that’s what I booked
