I've been wondering the past few days where we were at on this... Debating my next card(s).I would look on reddit to buy one or just risk the public links.

It's been a year since our last trip and we won't be going until MarchI’m living vicariously through so many of you. I swear I miss Disney so much I was looking at my food photos from the last time I was there. #sob
I’m so jealous of all the passholder preview SWGE talk and I don’t even like Star Wars (like, not even a little!)

Nope, no need to hold it for BoA, no "gotchas" in the offer details - just what it says. And I don't see any early termination fees so after getting the bonus looks like you can close any time. (you can check your schedules here - https://www.bankofamerica.com/deposits/account-fees/ and here - https://www.bankofamerica.com/deposits/checking/checking-clarity-statement/ - as they ask for zip code so it may change by region.)Does BoA have terms on the checking bonus like Chase? I.e. must keep the DD amount in the account for X days and you cannot close the account for X days after getting the bonus? I tried reading the offer details and all I am seeing is that you have to have the $4,000 DD in less than 90 days and then BoA will give you your bonus within 60 days of meeting it. Did I miss something? I am thinking of applying today. Just got paid so I won't have a DD for 2 weeks, but I guess that is fine.

Hmm, very interesting! This could be a good one for me/us. I think there's enough time to change dh's DD info before the next pay period.Nope, no need to hold it for BoA, no "gotchas" in the offer details - just what it says. As for timing, just make sure you have enough time for the DD to switch and get in enough pays to make the 4k within the 90 days. With hubby's payroll sometimes it's super quick to switch and other times it take a pay cycle to go through.
I'd suggest screenshots with the offercode showing. There has been some reports from the last targeted promotion that BoA claims the promocode wasn't attached, so it'd be useful to have if something should happen. When you start the application the promo code is shown first and I see it up in the URL too.
Wow I’m an outlier for both categories. I’ve never been one before!!!! I’m waging there are a lot less females in rchurning too. Where id say over her I bet the most represented group is 40 something femalesIt wasn't a knock, it was just looking at the demographics of who actually churns based on our surveys as well as who TPG's markets towards.
Example, if you're 40+, you're an outlier. If you make $160k+, you're an outlier. Around 85% of the people who churn fall between 23-39 and make $140k household or less, with the biggest bulk being in between $80-140k. That comprises 70% of the group. This is also who TPG's target demographic is.
If you fall outside of that, like many of us likely do, we still find value in it and it's worth our time. That's why we're here.
My point was; that I would wager the ABD target market is those who make over $140k household income, although I don't have their numbers, so it was just an assumption. I mean, you want to go to Japan w/ ABD? That's ~$45k for your family of 4, not including flights. Churning allows for aspirational trips that most otherwise couldn't afford.
That was really nice of you. We usually rent s house for a week in Dennisport for a week (first week of aug) and wouldn’t expect anything from the owner. We actually decided this year to do a long weekend at the Red Jacket Resort instead. Hope it’s not too damaged!!!Thanks that makes me feel better. Don’t know if they bought the insurance, but they did book through VRBO.
Thanks so much! Very nice of you both to say. I ended up getting them a $100 visa gift card (bought it before I saw your comments @SouthFayetteFan) and gave it to them this afternoon. We don't normally stop in on our renters, but kind of unusual circumstances. They seemed very gracious.
I feel good about the decision. I don't think they expected anything, but I felt really bad that they were without power in a rental for that long.
Me neither! So frustrating. I just took the upgrade in his biz green (to biz plat) to see what happens. They will get plenty on spend and the MRs plus travel credit will outweigh the super high annual fee. Figured it was worth a shot!!I have spent at least $3k on dh cards and can’t get him out of pop up jail to save my life.

Thank you! I am going to apply this afternoon. I already screenshotted the offer details. I will be thorough and do the same with the application and promo code!Nope, no need to hold it for BoA, no "gotchas" in the offer details - just what it says. I've heard of this hotel thread... some jerk that runs it hasn't updated the index in ages......Will try to post pics in the Hotel thread.
Great, thank you! Not a big deal to keep money in there for a little, but I have no intentions of actually keeping the account (which I know most here don't) so I will be happy to take my DD money and bonus backJust to verify yes, for both DW and I last year I pulled the money out of our BoA accounts as soon as the bonus posted and closed them once the transactions cleared. There are no terms about length of time or anything like that.
BoA mails a letter on account opening and that letter will have the information about the bonus. If you don't get the letter or the bonus isn't there, call them.
Try to stick with the word "support"Just back from vacation to Lake Powell, and checked mine as well. I am about 120 pages behind, but happy to see my P2 [REDACTED] points will also post next statement.View attachment 420244

Do we need ADRs for this place? Considering trying since we’re staying there but we don’t like being too tied down to ADRs. Any discount here other than AAA?
Our group here is definitely not the norm among churners. I think the majority of our group here is outliers. Are we the island of misfit churners? Maybe...but we are WAY BETTER than any other churning group I participate inWow I’m an outlier for both categories. I’ve never been one before!!!! sorry guys...I promise I'll get around to it eventually! I do love looking at that thread though and thinking about the places I could go!
