Just to verify yes, for both DW and I last year I pulled the money out of our BoA accounts as soon as the bonus posted and closed them once the transactions cleared. There are no terms about length of time or anything like that.

BoA mails a letter on account opening and that letter will have the information about the bonus. If you don't get the letter or the bonus isn't there, call them.
Do you have to call to close the account?

Wow I’m an outlier for both categories. I’ve never been one before!!!! I’m waging there are a lot less females in rchurning too. Where id say over her I bet the most represented group is 40 something females
Ya- it was around 85% male. And another big difference between here and there; only 21% have kids.

Ethnicities were interesting: Whites and Asians especially were over represented at 67.7% and 18.3%, respectfully.

Here is the raw data if you care:

Oh it's good to hear I'm not the only one slacking, because I've got a ton of pics from our stays at the Royal Hawaiian, the Sheraton Waikiki, the Sheraton Universal next to Universal Studios Hollywood, and the Hyatt Carmel Highlands just in the past year that I've got to spin into reviews and stories.

You mean with your million+ Bonbon points?
Ahem... 1.2 million bonbon points :D And I have used like 210k of them this year so :P HAHA!

Those are my favorite Christmas movies, Rudolph, Year Without A Santa Claus, and the other one that is the story of Kris Kringle... can't recall the name, same style.

ETA: And of course, the Holy Grail, the epitome of Christmas movies... Christmas Vacation

It's that time, Christmas time is here...
:rolleyes1

Love Actually, The Holiday, Miracle on 34th Street (with Richard Attenborough), It’s a Wonderful Life.

Christmas in July! Because the real one is still too far away.

I’m at 815k. And that’s after I did (3) 7 night Flight and hotel packages last year. Unfortunately, that’s as high as it’ll ever be again because even staying at a Marriott for cash (work), I usually put it on a CSR as I value 3 UR > 6 Bonvoy. But it’s kind of a wash, which is ridiculous for a hotel card at the chain the hotel is. Whereas Hyatt @ 4x or Hilton Aspire at 14x are the clear choice while staying at those. RIP SPG cards :(

Bonvoy points are one of the few currencies I would actually consider not burning, only because they are so much harder to get than other currencies and I don’t believe it will be devalued further for a while. Then again... Marriott seems to have no limit when it comes to screwing their members, so maybe just burn them as quick as you can.

That was really nice of you. We usually rent s house for a week in Dennisport for a week (first week of aug) and wouldn’t expect anything from the owner. We actually decided this year to do a long weekend at the Red Jacket Resort instead. Hope it’s not too damaged!!!

Our house is in Dennisport!
The renters sent a text thanking us for the gift card. I think they were happy with it.

I’m in Dennisport now at my parents’ house and the clean-up in the area has been fast. There are tree trucks all over the place. I think the Red Jacket will be fine. Nice location!

Oh and add me to the 40-something female group.
