DH (aka me). Applied for CIP#3 yesterday. Created a link from mine. No instant approval but checked this morning and he was approved. Yeah!! So now we both have been approved for 3 - CIP cards.

Could still use another business card with someone else as tuition will be due in August. Going to see if DH can finally get a AA Citi Business card. Has been declined twice for stupid reasons. Might try Amex Delta Business but have both gotten the pop ups so not holding my breath on that one.
Yikes! I just self referred myself for CIP#2 and was instantly approved with a $6k CL. The new card immediately showed up in my account so I sent a SM asking to expedite the card and received confirmation in less than 5 minutes that the card will arrive in 1-2 business days. The $5k spend will be a challenge but I can do it if I put absolutely all my expenses on the card and prepay some things. I don't want to prepay too much because it makes it that much more difficult to make the next MSR. The plan is to refer DS for his first CIP in the fall when property taxes are due, which will knock out a big chunk of the MSR.

Congrats party:

Happy 4th! It's pouring here at the moment so I am waiting to grill the brats.

Quick question for all you experts - just got a CSP from DH's referral. I would really like to upgrade it to my very own CSR eventually, do I have to wait for a year, or can I do it once I hit the MSR and get the bonus? Thanks!
You have to wait a year to upgrade to the CSR due to the CARD act

We LOVED CB. Walking to VB was awesome and the food court was really good. I also loved the gym. I think that ruined Disney values for me.
Awesome! It was the most reasonably price option since I need to book 2 rooms for 6 nights. I have never stayed in a Disney value for a point of reference but it does look like they have a fantastic pool which was for a necessity since we will be getting lots of pool time. Where do the buses for the parks drop you off?

Do you mean at the resort? Right at the front. It’s all extremely convenient. And the pool was fantastic too.

Sorry, no. From the resort, I am guessing somewhere over at CityWalk and then you clear security there? Or do you clear security from CB and it is just a drop-off at CW?

@GZanta77 In case you have kids with you-
Westin Kierland Resort, Arizona: Go bodyboarding in the Desert
Reflecting Native American and rich Arizona history throughout the grounds, the Westin Kierland resort in Scottsdale is the premier family-friendly destination. While the kids chill in a 900-foot-long lazy river and a 110-footlong waterslide at their Adventure Water Park, adults can escape to the Agave Spa for a relaxing botanical treatment. The resort’s FUN team offers pottery painting, LEGOmania, swimming, crafts, science labs and digital experience for kids 4-12. Head to the OK Corral for lawn chess, basketball and game tables. In the evening, gather at the area’s fire pit for “Kierland Kampfires” and Arizona S’mores.
HIGHLIGHT: At Surf Camp, kids at least 52 inches tall can learn how to surf and catch a wave on the exclusive Kierland FlowRider wave simulator.

Yay! Had a nice win over the last few days. I used my Chase Points to
book a vacation for my daughter and me to Charleston. At the time, the hotel I had decided on was only available for three of the four nights I needed, but it was available the 4th night for a cash booking through the hotels website, so that’s what I did.

I was rechecking all my travel arrangements a couple of days ago, and I noticed that the hotel was now available for all four nights with points. I rebooked and then cancelled the other reservations. The best part? Four nights are now costing me FEWER Chase points than my prior three night reservation would have, and I’m saving the cost of the cash night, too. The points from my first booking have already been redeposited in my UR account. I am a happy camper!

Stranger Things is an American science fiction horror web television series

Certainly sounds scary to me.
I watched the first two episodes...I'm not liking it much tho.... it is kind of boring, and then gets scary for 2 minutes and I can't decide which I dislike more, the boring or the scary. I think it's jumped the shark.(I actually thought that in season 2) and yes I know I'm dating myself with that reference, but I made sure that my kids and all their friends understand it LOL
I'm rewatching Parenthood, wanted to compare it to This is Us..... turns out I like This is Us way more, but can't stop watching the old episodes either......(I can't force myself to like Gilmore Girls,I don't get the love)

Ah, and I guess the CARD act is only for personal cards since I know I PC'd by CIU to CIP before a year.
Yep, only personal cards. Business cards aren't covered by a lot of protections like personal cards are and this is one of those, so you're only at Chase's mercy upgrading a business one before a year.

You definitely should self-refer to another CIP over CIU and CIC right now. If the CIPpy cup ever tips over and stops working...CIC and CIU will still be available to you ;) AND self-refer is not an issue at all!
Oh...what was it that caused problems with self referring? So the 3 months in between is right for timing, correct? Should I keep using it for everyday spend so they don't get mad and deny my next card? I'm concerned b/c I want to use my other cards now that I hit MSR...(that was fast for me!)
