 I am so grossed out. I went to Sonic tonight and got a grilled chicken sandwich. Took a bite, no big deal. Second bite seemed cold but I thought maybe it was a cold piece of lettuce or tomato. Skeptical, I bit in again and it was definitely frozen, so I spit it out. I drove right back and told them what happened. The guy (manager) was extremely apologetic. I asked him if that was raw chicken that I just ate and he assured me that they use fully cooked chicken breasts that come frozen. I guess they just didn't heat it up enough. Anyway, I don't think I can ever eat a chicken sandwich there again. I'm just glad it wasn't raw chicken. That's just gross. I feel like I need to brush my teeth or something. I'm recounting this story to everyone, even to you all, my DIS buddies.:)

Eeeeeek! I'm so glad it wasn't raw! And, I'm so sorry! I hope you got some kind of compensation! I would be getting me some free stuff! I guess when they say they make everything fresh they're lying!

well they don't butcher the chicken there, but shes right the grill chicken is fully cooked when shipped ( hey its a safety issue=)

Oh..that's...just..gross...

The only thing I get at Sonic are milkshakes because I don't like the taste of anything. But you just assured me I won't be eating there anytime soon.

Just because the chicken is shipped "fully cooked" doesn't guarantee it can't be raw in the middle. I had a chicken sandwich from Burger King about 6 months ago and I thought I had bitten into some fat because the texture was weird, but it wasn't cold. I spit it out as I took a closer look at the sandwich and it was pink! Ewwwwww! :scared1: I wrapped the sandwich up and put it in my fridge then I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. They wanted me to bring the sandwich back and offered me another one. No thanks! I had lost my appetite. I just wanted then to check their chicken supply and make sure it didn't happen to anyone else. I kept the sandwich in case I got sick.:crazy2:

Aparently you've never smelled a shake machine when it hasn't been cleaned all week :scared:

Have ya ever gotten some ice cream from there that wasn't quite as hard as you think it should be? Its usualy because theres is so much build up in the machine that it can't cool correctly.

I dont "do" fast food ice cream.

I dont eat at Sonic period.

EWWW BAS, that's disgusting. I can imagine how that milk shake machine would smell..BLECH!

So when you get a cone that's not quite "set up" is that when it's called a mr. softee :rotfl2:

Sonic always makes me sick! Now I know why!
I hate going through the drive thru and getting expired milk! It has happened more than once and 1 MCDonalds by my house, they always say to bring it back for a refund...but sometimes that is more trouble than it it worth!
I guess I had better cook the rest of the week!

Gross! My mom had grilled chicken at a Denny's Diner and it was raw in the middle.

Oh, I got a caramel macchiato from Starbucks the other day. It tasted absolutely disgusting. I had my SIL take a sip since she's worked at Starbucks for 7 years. I wanted her professional opinion. She told me that the espresso shots were old and the milk had been re-steamed. She said that the window for reheating the milk is very small and that you're not supposed to heat it over 150. They basically burned it.

We went to the Starbucks that I frequent and they exchanged it for free.

Eww that was gross! Glad it wasn't a raw chicken!
