..coffee maker!

My sister gave it to me this weekend. I didn't use it at first because I thought it would be difficult...

My Dad was the first one up every mornng. He would set the timer on the coffee machine every night and set it for 4am. At 4am he'd be rolling his walker into the kitchen to the aroma a fresh coffee. He always made a cup for himself and waited for his beloved wife to awake and make one for her.

Today I made a cup and it wasn't difficult. It actually made me smile.

Every thought of that sweet, humble little man brings me such peace now. I will always miss him but right now, I can share a cup of coffee in rememberance of the man I loved for 47 years and will love forEVER.

Cheers and good morning, Daddy, Mommy and everyone! :teeth:

I bet that was the BEST TASTING COFFEE EVER!!;) Faith.

SO ROBIN, a PART OF YOU IS WAKING UP TO YOU DAD EVERY MORNING :D

(SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS, I DIDN'T MEAN TO SHOUT)

Robin, The smell of that coffee while knowing it came from your dad's coffeemaker must have made your memories of him more intense. It would have made me smile too.
I am very sorry for your loss and I'm glad that you feel your dad close to you.
