I confess.. Share your confessions

Our Christmas tree is still up with decorations and all, as well as the indoor reef (window/mirror clings), Christmas stockings, and indoor lighting, although we have not plugged in the lights since Jan 7th or so.

We also still have some halloween decorations up (like the mirror/window clings), ceramic pumpkin and fiber optic pumpkin.

:lmao:

Our actual house in clean, the cleaning lady comes in and cleans the entire house but just leaves the decorations. I admit, I didn't even notice the pumpkins until 3 days ago. Needless to say, the cleaning lady is coming Monday and she will put the decorations away. :cheer2:

Honey- that's pretty bad. :lmao:

I'll think of a confession during my workout...

WOW!! Last year my tree didn't come down until March. All the ornaments were off, I just couldn't get that doggone tree put away. I have bookshelf that I put Christmas decorations on that stayed up all year last year. By the time I had the energy to take them down, it was November, so I left them up for Christmas!!! You will be pleased to know that THIS year, they were down the third week of January!!!

I love you icebrat! I love you for the fact that you prove that there is someone out there who procrastinates more than I do. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

That is sooo funny! You should just leave it up till next christmas and get a head start :teeth:

the worst I have is the Valentine's Day clings on the Front window.

However--my house needs cleaning. I need to break down and squeeze in a cleaning lady. But our long neglected exterior is beyond needing sprucing--so I think I will have to eventually clean my home myself.

I confess...just this past week I didn't wash dishes for 3 days! I was on strike! I cooked dinner on Thursday, didn't wash the pots and pans, 3 teenage daughters couldn't be bothered, so neither could I. I worked late the next 2 nights, they all ate dinner at home, but no one could do the dishes...not even putting them in the dishwasher. On Sunday, to make dinner they had to wash dishes...but all they washed was what they needed. They were using the dessert forks for dinner. Finally on Sunday night I washed everything..2 loads for the dishwasher...I was a but PO'd to say the least.

We can't, we just bought a house 3000 miles away, we have to pack :rotfl2: :lmao:

Just last night I told my partner, if we weren't moving we could just leave the Halloween decorations up, October is only 6 months away. :lmao:

If you enjoy them, or don't notice them, what's the diff? :)

Why take it down now, you will only have to put it back up again in a few months :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

 you take the cake on that one.
Our tree and decorations came down on New Year's Eve. We like to start out the new Year right. Latest they come down is New Years Day.

Thats too funny. I have to say my Christmas decorations are in the box and in the attic on December 26th but I do have a confession........

My house is very clean. People come over and always comment on how clean and organized my house is having a small child. Well, lets hope they never open a cupboard, closet or drawer!! My house is clean because I just shoved everything laying around in the nearest closet....

We still have some of that white cobweb stuff from Halloween stuck in our front bushes...it just won't come off....even thru thunderstorms & snow.

:lmao:

My sister in law admits to this (cleans corners with a friggin toothbrush!!) but insists her closets are "a mess". Well, I assume they are a mess in a clean person's definition of "a mess" (not mine! :teeth: ). So the last time I was at their house I was sitting on the toilet and decided to open the door of the standup cupboard they have in their bathroom.... :rotfl2: It was like someone had mashed any odd or end that was sitting around the house in that cupboard!!! I know what she means now... let's just hope no one looks in your cupboards ;) (btw I don't normally do this... only didn't it because I didn't believe her! :lmao: )

And icebrat~ woohoo!!!!! You make me feel better. I thought March 10th was bad!!!! ;)

don't fret- my neighbors still have ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL of the plastic light up lawn stuff in the front yard! We are talking one of whatever walmart sells that lights up!

Now THAT, my friends, is AWESOME.

:rotfl: This thread is great! ours were up and in the attic by new years.

Well, my 15yo gave us Valentine's Day cards and they are still up on the fireplace mantel. It's not so much that I'd forgotten to take care of them, but that I thought it was so sweet that he gave cards to each of us, so I don't want to take them down. :)

Up until last week there were LOTS of things in my fridge that should have been tossed a long time ago. That was pretty gross.

You all are hysterical! :lmao:

My confession is that I bought myself an elliptical machine for x-mas, and haven't touched it in over a month. My excuse is that the batteries died, then I was out of town for 4 weeks, etc, etc.
