Well first of all, I am never in this situation. I refuse to go to WDW in the summer. If given a choice between going in the summer and not going, I pick not going and I am a die hard Disney freak.

Now, yes to some of us it does matter how we look. Shocking I know, but when I don't feel good about how I look then I am in a very bad mood. For me personally, I find tennis shoes to be very uncomfortable and very hot, I mush prefer flip flops, My feet aren't damaged, been doing this for years, and I am perfectly comfortable in them. I realize others aren't but for me, tennis shoes are for working out and only working out.

I agree with you about the flip-flops. A Floridian and I only wear tennis shoes to jog on the treadmill with. My feet feel hot and sweaty in tennis shoes and socks.

And I wear the same makeup I were everyday when at WDW, but I also wear shirts and tank tops or t -shirts while there.

For me it's a balance between looking acceptable and being comfortable.

*BUMP*

Great website!

And I completely agree with you! You need comfortable shoes when you are walking as much as you walk when you are at Disney. And it is an athletic endeavor--so it is only smart to wear athletic shoes!

And gosh who gives a dang how you look when you are at a place that is 1,000 degrees in the shade and we are constantly sweating and groaning and moaning and crying and being hit by millions of strollers on a mission and dealing with toddlers toddling into you and moms yelling and dads crying and teenagers rolling their eyes as we wait in 12 hour lines to meet people wearing outfits pretending they are happy to see us as they wear 50 pounds of fake fur and wonder when their next break will be, and then prepare to pay $400 for our next meal and then cram into a bus at the end of the night filled with people who look like they want to stab someone in the eye and smell even worse, only to wake up and do it all over again.

Does it matter how we look in this situation...........

And we do all this in the name of having a vacation. Are we crazy? :lmao:
::yes:: We vacationed 5 yrs straight in the summer at WDW!!
