I got a Pin(30/35/40)....it really works!!!

So I was reading on here that someone used their vacation planning page on disney.com and saved several vacation packages and it may have genereated them a pin. Well guess what....IT DID THE SAME FOR ME!!! Last night I signed on to my account and priced out a few trips and saved the offers, they were for different resorts and times of the year. I also called one day last week to see if there was a pin in my name....I signed on today and recevied a pin that went a little like this:

You don't have to fall down any rabbit holes to find Wonderland. Especially when you have great offers like these on a Disney Resort stay! They make it easy to experience everything from the special events to the amazing attractions you'll find during select times in 2010. Plus, because of the usually shorter lines and more comfortable weather, these are also the times when you could enjoy the Disney experience most. So exciting to know that a little playing around really works....we are waiting for free dining...but I had to test it out to see if it would work for me and it DID!!! Too bad it end in June...but I will hold out and pray that they send me another one!!

I've been doing all that for weeks now and nothing however, my mom, who hasn't been to Disney for 2 years and hasn't been on their site for even longer got that exact pin code yesterday!

That's crazy, cause I just did it last night and the pin was in my email this afternoon. Too bad it's not one that I can use, since we are not going until August...I'll just pray for free dining and a free upgrade (that's what happened to us this year)....

It worked for me too. The reason I know it was because the e-mail mentioned the dates and resort that I had plugged into the site. I put in all info except for how I was going to pay then I clicked out and a pop up came up asking why I was not finishing the booking. I clicked on the choice that said something like "I did not think it was a good deal". You need to turn off your pop up blocker.
The dates go through Dec (with black out dates)

I have that one - so to speak... I called on a whim this week to see if there were any attached to my name, and we had that one.
Like you, we are hoping to go later in the year (December) so we're really hoping the 20/30/40 or 30/35/40 PIN pops up for the full year or remainder of the year!

I've been going all of that for 4 months now and it doesn't work for me!

I get every other advertisment and information from WDW so I know my
Email works.

I even called and asked if I had a pin code and they said I may not
qualify for a Pin--what is that suppose to mean?
I thought anyone who likes to go to WDW would qualify.

So I've come to the conclusion that they have a Target group--I don't know what it is but will continue to hope that someday I will qualify.

I got that pin as well on 12/16 - but if we go (and that's a BIG if) it wouldn't be until December.

I have never ever gotten a pin or any other discount.

I did get the POP to SSR discount because one of the other parties in my grand gathering (the one who had only been to WDW once before) got the upgrade email... and I was able to get it applied to everyone in the GG party.

My question to you guys, does the most recent offer have black out dates? Is it room only?

I am looking for a room only discount for presidents week (feb 14-19).

I saved different offers and then deleted some and put in new ones and that generated the pop up of why I didn't book that offer. It has happened twice in the past week, but no pin code yet!!! We are hoping for a pin code for our May trip since we have to book multiple rooms. We will just keep on hoping!!! Any other tricks?

Be sure your pop up blocker is turned off. Once you save your vacation, a separate pop up should open asking why you did not book. Hit the deal was not good enough for you, then click submit. Hope this works for you.

Glad you got a pin. We booked bounce back for September for the free dining. Free dining seems to be are best deal.

I fiddled and fiddled. I finally got the screen that asked why I havent booked.

I said the price wasnt right.

Lets see if we get the PIN.

If I do, I will be impressed. I have been going to WDW at least annually all decade and have never gotten a PIN.

I got a pin after I completed an exit survey a few months ago. However the pin was through Dec (even though the dates I put in for the reservation were in 2010) and we want to go in April. So I am trying again! This thread gave me renewed hope!
