I Goofed! Can I make it from the airport to ADR?

Our flight time was lengthened (departure time is the same, but arrival is 25 minutes later) and I could only get the ADR I wanted at 4:00. My arrival time is 12:59 we are seated in the middle of the plane and will have a stroller and only carry on bags. We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort and need to go to Epcot for our reservation. What are the odds I can make this?

ETA- I was just able to find a 4:15 reservation, not that it's a big difference.

In theory, you can probably make it. But it will be very close and probably not the most easy-going start to your trip. I would skip the ADR unless you want to eat the no-show charge. Even a 15 minute delay will probably negate the ADR all together...

I would skip the ADR and take things easy that first day. No sense stressing out over a ADR!

Another vote for cancelling the ADR. We just returned and shared and our resort (Boardwalk) shared the Magical Express route with CBR. CBR was the first drop off and if that's the case you will have an easier time making the ADR on time. However, personally, I would never want to start a trip with that stress and possibly not making the ADR and then having a no show fee on top of it.

So you have 3 hours (and maybe 15 minutes) to make this?

FWIW, being in the middle of the plane makes the stroller thing better, because it's more likely that you won't have to wait on the ramp for the stroller to be brought up.

25 minutes probably doesn't qualify as "enough" of a time change, but have you called to see *if* you can get that flight changed to a different one that gets in earlier?

Yes, if I'm lucky and there are no delays. I didn't think of that. I never brought a stroller on the plane, so I didn't know how it worked (if they took them off the plane before or after everyone disembarked) Yes, I did. It would cost an extra $160 per person to make a change to the flight. ☹️ Thanks for your response. I will probably cancel. I really wanted this character meal to start our trip, but I don't want to chance missing it or be stressed out all day worrying if we will make it.

If your flight lands on time, I think you'll make it. Are you a family of four? Worst case scenario, you're out $40 if you don't make it. I say keep the reservation and don't stress. :goodvibes

I won't have a car seat for my 20 month old, so I will be relying strictly on Disney transportation.

We are a party of five including the baby. Normally, I would do that, but my husband was laid off for a month (the nature of his profession) and only just went back to work last week and with Christmas expenses.... Well, let's just say $50 extra hurts a lot more than it normally would right now.

Then for sure, cancel.
