Yesterday I posted my devastation over losing my photopass CD from our family trip last year. I mean, I've been looking for this for months..MONTHS!
I hate it when I can't find something, (which is pretty often!) and this item I KNEW I could see in my mind where I had last put it. The problem was, where I had last put it (in a box in a certain room) had been moved and I didn't know which box, where, if the CD was still in the envelope etc. I thought for sure it got thrown away.
Last summer was probably our last trip to Disney with all three "kids". I have three kids: dd 17, ds 7 and dd 5. I MADE the oldest come with us, just the family...no friends. It was a wonderful FAMILY vacation and the CD had some very special pictures on it, as well as precious little kids pics with Ariel. Why is it I never use my own camera with Ariel and then I either don't claim the pics in time or I lose the CD? Anyway.....
Next month we are going back. Without dd, 17 1/2. She does not wish to go and we are not going to force her this time, but I told her I cannot afford a second room this time for her to bring a friend. So, she will stay alone with a friend for a couple days, and the rest of the time with my mom. Originally, we were going to go me and her, and her friend and her friend's mom..but 1) the girls didn't REALLY want to go and 2) the other mom decided she can't afford it. So now, it's dh and I, and the 2 little ones.
Oh, we'll probably go back with her in the future, but she'll be in college, my kids will be older..she also wants to travel abroad..you know how it is.
Mommy needed her memories and some magic fairy must have visited my house last night with pixie dust or something because I went downstairs, opened 2 boxes...that were in front of me all along, and there it was!!!
So, those who responded yesterday and got me THINKING...thank you!!!!
Should I tell dh? Ummmm, what if he says "good, now we don't need to go again this year?" Maybe I'll wait till after the trip to tell him? he he he
