I drove to New Jersey and got my new crown!

Then I went to Kohl's - I love that store! I had a 30% off coupon plus $20 in Kohl's cash - it was heavenly to go by myself and walk around taking my time!

I meant going without my DH! I love him, but shopping on his day off means rushing through the store. I actually but my bags in the trunk, sat in the car and called my sister. She said she bought shoes today, and I was like, I forgot to look at the shoes! So I went back in and bought some new sandals

Oh yeah, I year you. DH HATES shopping. I just won't ever go with him, he ruins it. Why do you have to go in here? I thought you only wanted xxx item? Buy that one, etc. BUG OFF ALREADY!! Now if we were shopping for tools ..

So 4 day weekend here for Easter. Last day of freedom . So many things this weekend. Tonight there is an Art Exhibition at my DD's school, then HOCKEY OF COURSE!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow is super cleaning mode, then Sat Bday party at friends, I have to leave early as DD is having her sleep over Bday party . Then Sunday is easter, off to in-laws for supper. Monday doing supper at my mothers.

My dad is leaving for the UK Friday . So I get his smelly dog for 3 weeks. So a WHOLE bunch of preteens should wipe me out, whatta think???

She is a ****zu? Spelling. And always has this fur in her mouth. I wash her, but dang she stinks all the time. LOL. I am used to my 2 cats, and they are super clean.

Lots of drama this weekend. I think I'll need some booze for that.

So darn it. I was complaining of my Dad's dog being smelly, and if anyone caught my other thread, I had to get her ASAP to the vet because she was vomiting blood, and had trouble breathing, not eating, etc.

I have not slept since she arrived, and I feel awful. My Dad is overseas in London, then Ireland and Scotland, and only due to come home mid May.

I am trying to reach him in case I need to know his wishes for her, god forbid it comes to that.

Today he said she is doing a lot better with the IV, and that the xrays showed either a tumor or just the fluid in her lungs, he could not distinguish, so he will redo the xray today, and I am to call at 9:30am tomorrow, and if all is at is now, she will come how with some medication tomorrow.

I hope and pray it says this way. So not easy.

She's home! I updated the other thread.

It is a terribly dreary Wednesday, and it is supposed to be like this most of the week. I will keep her close to me.

SCHOOL RETURNS TOMORROW

I hope you all had a nice holiday, no matter what you did.

We were busy. My DD had her sleepover with 6 others , they were great, it was just that I was locked in my room with the dog. Sunday rushed the dog, then dinner at in-laws, yesterday was GORGEOUS, sat outside to get some Vit D, then dinner at Mom's.

Just picked up the dog, plan on relaxing after DD goes to her friends, and a small supper. We have definitely overeaten.

Hockey game tonight, tomorrow see Acct for taxes, then Thursday night out with my lady friends again :, relax Friday, and a nice fundraiser THINK pink for breastcancer Sat night.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS THREAD

Well, the dog is doing poorly I think. Drinking, no food, sleepy. I called the vet, and if she has not eaten by Friday, I am going to bring her back

I am just exhausted with all of this. Trying everything imaginable to get her to eat, and it is not happening. I am happy she is drinking and urinating, but now just a little nibble would be great.

Enough of my complaining. HOCKEY WE WON LAST NIGHT Game 7 tonight, so the sofa is looking reallllly good.. It was so loud last night at the game, my ears were still buzzing this morning. Then I went out for coffee with a GF, came home to check the doggie, back out to do a zillion messages.

I'm here! I didn't know if I should post about what a fab weekend I had while the poor dog was so sick

So, I had a FABULOUS weekend!!! Saturday night we went to see "Baby It's You" on Broadway, I loved it. Great musical about the Shirelles and the woman who discovered them. (I don't know how old you are, they were a girl group in the '60's)

Then came Sunday. I can't help it, I have to say "OMG, it was AWESOME!"
We went to the final two performances of American Idiot. My dream came true after the final show - Green Day took the stage and played for about 45 minutes.
