Hello all.

Crashing and burning early tonight. Was out last night, and am exhausted today.. DD12 came back from her grad trip, and I am just going to watch TV and relax.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. The sun is actually coming out . I'm afraid to jinx it.

He is not my favorite so I was fine with the cast. The other two leads, the guys who owned the bar, are still the same as is the blonde guitar player. Also, the woman who owned the "gentlemen's club" is still there, and she is wonderful. The older German guy is still the same too.

So there are enough original cast members IMO. It just seemed extra hilarious yesterday, maybe because we were in the second row. I did start to get a stiff neck from looking up so much

Oh, now we have 2 rats, or Guinea Pigs, which I call rats. DD's friend could not keep them, so hey, why not?????????????

My cats are going bonkers, the dog has 4 more days, 4, did YOU HEAR THAT..4 more days until my father gets back. . When your animals outnumber the people in your home, houston there is a problem.

Once she leaves we will be on even numbers IF i can keep the cats from eating the rats, all is good..

Today marks the 1yr Anniversary of my last brain surgery. I did need more surgery for complications..BUT.

Today I celebrate my life. Last year at this time I was already under, I was uncertain if it would be my last Mother's day, last everything...etc..

I decided last night that instead of all the doom and gloom, the new results I have, the new results I am waiting for, I would just be HAPPY, celebrate the fact that although I will need more surgery as life continues, I don't need it now. I have my family, my children, and today will just be a celebration...

We are ordering pizza, no cooking for me. I will do this morning, but NOTHING else but lie in the warm sunshine. My good friend is coming over for supper, so it will be the kids, myself and her, and perhaps a CORONA..

I will celebrate with you - today I'm driving up to have lunch with my sisters. I hate driving so this is a big deal for me. Hope to do some shopping too!

One more final. French Lit...tomorrow. I guess it will be my last French test/class. I just am not smart enough to have that as my concentration. Oh well.

My parents are coming tomorrow also. Because finals week/ballet recital week (4 rehearsals plus the recital!) is not stressful enough. I told them that the bathrooms would be clean, their sheets would be clean, and they'd get to see the grandkids. I can't promise anything more than that.

My daughter starts is starting a private HS next year, they had a French placement exam. She tells me she purposely threw it, as she does not want to be in advanced French. Guess what... Phone call last week. Briana did well, as a matter of fact, she did SO WELL she will be in advanced French . I said imagine had you tried. I am overjoyed. We don't have the option in this Province, I also am all about languages, and I would rather her learn it the right way, than the way I did. I struggle with the writing aspect, not the speaking. It is an extremely hard language to learn, too many tenses, and no rules for Masc and Fem. IT drives me bonkers.

I hope you have a nice visit with your parents. They are not there to see your house, but you all I know it is easier said than done though.

Yes, the writing KILLS me. I am so sad that I'm not going to be studying French anymore, but the papers for French Lit were just too hard. Next semester they are offering Grammar, which is SO what I need, but I'd have to take an Independent Study as well, which would be one paper per week about a French film. I just don't think I can do the writing.
I'm happy for your daughter. She'll do great, I'm sure!

I will enjoy their visit. The kids are super excited.

Getting my shellac mani redone today. Not sure what color I will do. I so prefer neutrals during the summer....

My shoes are HIGH though. Like over 4 inches one pair, and I almost REALLY feel like Marisa Tomei . I'll get used to them, they are GORGEOUS. I am in love with one pair, and so so with the other. Wearing the wedges tonight, and will keep the stripper heels for next week downtown.
