I feel lost.....

You generally have to cancel your reservation and rebook the AP rate. Which is really fine, since it is refundable up to 5 days out; it does take a few weeks for your deposit to be returned on the cancelled reservation.

You can book now with no AP, as long as you get your AP before checking out.
perfect!! to cancel & wait for refund isn't an issue. good to know!!
thanks

Thanks all....for your help!!!
I booked last night at Royal Pacific!! for 4 nights....I know I can save by only doing 1 night & stay somewhere else...and may change that up at some point. but, for now, this just seems less moving parts for my 1st time is better.

I know everyone says no stressful planning is required, like for Disney so, I'm really looking forward to that!!!
but, honestly, I am always planning our next trip/or 2....and love the planning part.
With this being our 1st Universal trip, I will be doing tons of Youtube watching....& more questions for you all...LOL
I will be purchasing AP........so, room & tickets are easy & done...(and I will watch for AP rates to change my reservation).

I booked Sat-Wed before Thanksgiving so, I'm expecting it to be crowded.
Any advice on any "must dos" will be much appreciated!!

Again...thanks for your help with the beginning plans!!! Am so excited to try something new :bounce:
