I didn't "recognize" myself <UPDATE w/picture, bottom pg. 1>

I was riding in the back seat of a friends car yesterday and I happen to glance up in the rearview mirror and I had to take a double take. I saw a thin chin and face and I couldn't believe it was mine. Then again today a friend took a picture of DH and I at church, when she showed me the picture I couldn't stop staring because I was trying to recognize myself in the photo, it was a very bizarre experience. Although I knew it was me, the image I saw looked unfamiliar to me. I know I have lost weight, I have seen pictures, but this particular picture shocked me at how much I have lost. Once my friend emails it to me I will post it here, it was just so strange to see since my minds image didn't match the actual image.

It's amazing to think what we'll look like when we hit goal- I've still got the "fat face" in the back of my memory and it's hard to see the differences- but what a JOY to be taken aback by it!! That is so inspiring!!! I remember when I "got it" that I was overweight, and it was from EVERY PICTURE that was taken of me!! I always said, "wow, that is a horrible picture" then I realized it was ME!!
