Okay...I finally did it. I am caught up. Please forgive me for taking so long (with the packing up of our house and the closing this week, I'm a little stir crazy).

I would have "accidentally" kicked the fool be hind me a tad harder.

The line for Gaston since the youtube videos showed up is insane.

That's too bad about POTC being down (probably a good thing it is having a major refurb).

I am so with you...I love that whole surrounding area around Beast's Castle.

I'm glad you enjoyed your meal. And too funny about DS seeing the Beast while he entered and then not wanting anything to do with him.

Yay for a DIS meet...but did I miss the picture proof? You can't beat a ride on the people mover at the end of the night.

And that cinnamon roll is huge! I would be sick if I tried to eat that whole thing. More power to you that you ate as much as you did.

I know exactly the predicament. Such a short trip that paying Deluxe would be the way to go than a longer trip, but then seeing the price for such a short trip just doesn't make sense. A definite predicament. Pop??

Yeah, it really was tough to justify. We actually considered a Princess room at POR Riverside (DS won't be with us), but I couldn't even justify that extra expense since we won't be in the room much, so we went a few dollars more than Pop and booked a Little Mermaid room at AoA so DD can visit one of her favorite princesses.

But a monorail resort would be perfect for this trip. Right now we're planning 2 days MK, 1 day EPCOT with a few hours at DHS mid-day using FP+... basically just so we can do a few favorites there.

Have you ever considered renting DVC? Wonder if it wouldn't be too expensive to upgrade a bit more for a monorail resort, considering your parks. And I know you well enough that you need to go ride RnRC. Not riding is not an option ::yes:

I did look into it. It would be reasonable to do a standard studio at BLT for only about $200 more than AoA, even if I could get into one. But anything else, I'd still be looking at $300 - $400 more.

Also, I'm not really big on the idea of renting DVC points right now. One of the Disdads got royally screwed on a rental recently so I have that in the back of my mind whenever I consider it.

Caught up on your latest update. You did quite a lot at the MK that day from the rides, meals and watching Wishes from the PeopleMover.

Dinner at BOG looks amazing. I was lucky enough to get a reservation for BOG dinner for my October trip in which it was a pain to look everyday on the internet to look for a reservation where I will be staying off-site. This is where staying on-site makes a big difference. I did enjoy your pictures at BOG that day. It must have been magical eating there with the Christmas decorations up as well.

It would be difficult to stay off-site! Never have and probably never will unless absolutely necessary. To many pros to staying on-site. And the Christmas decorations in BOG was so gorgeous!
