I booked 2 rooms, will they know I want them close together

You need to make it a request on your reservation; reminding them at check-in wouldn't hurt.

call member service back and tell her you want your rooms close together.

this may mean being on another floor.

if you wait until check in - then they probably can't move the other party.

you need to tell MS before then.

I booked two rooms in feb. I then called MS about something different and mentioned that I had forgot to mention in the original phone call that I would like both rooms in the same building if possible. MS then told me that when a member books more than one room they assume that's what you want and make it a point to keep you together. I would call anyway it always make's me feel better to confirm. We are staying at the WLV, so I know we will be in the same bld. ;) but we want our rooms close if possible. we were neighbors last year and that worked perfect.

Call them and mention it. They do their best to accomodate requests, but they always tell you they are requests and not guaranteed.

In 2003 I booked a 2-bedroom at Old Key West for my family, and a studio for my parents.

At the time I made my reservations I requested they both be close together.

The other thing I did was make sure the reservations were both under my name, even as far as saying that I would be the one to sign all of the forms at check-in.

DVC met my request and we were right next door to each other. :earsboy:

We stayed in two OKW studios last fall as we were low on points. It worked out great -- they put us in two ground floor studios in the same building. We enjoyed being there, even in the "lowly" accomodations! :)
