So great to see that so many folks here love to take pictures of unusual WDW details like I do too, I thought about trying to respond to some of the pictures that are similar to ones I have taken, and posting my examples here, but I would end up being a bit of a page hog if I did... so instead I'll just reply about some of them in text here, and if anyone really wants to see my examples of these I can share them later if anyone requests them.
On the very first page JR6ooo4 has a photo of the Jellyfish inspired light fixtures at Turtle Talk in the Seas with Nemo and friends attraction I have some of those too they are neat.

There are some nice bathroom and tile photos in this thread too! I have taken quite a few WDW bathroom pics over the years, in fact my more recent ones I've started putting on Flickr with the tag TOTVKOTW (which is short for Thrones Of The Vacation Kingdom Of The World ), my older ones can be harder to track down as they are scattered throughout the trip reports on my site. I see a few folks have taken pictures of the Hand washing instructions sponsored by the Georgia-Pacific products Sparkle and Brawny, I have my own thoughts on this, if many of you listened to the DISunplugged podcast you may recall Pete mentioning a while back that in exchange for all of those Coca-cola logos you see in all the restaurants in the parks (and perhaps their sponsorship in the American Adventure pavilion as well?) WDW gets thier fountain soda FOR FREE from Coke, I'm betting that this deal with Georgia Pacific (perhaps combined with their sponsorship of lights motors Action?)
gets WDW toilet paper, hand towels and perhaps even napkins in exchange for all these sponsored by Brawny or sponsored by Sparkle signs so in that sense Georgia Pacific really is sponsoring the bathrooms.

lot's of photos I have are "similar but different" to ones in this thread for instance:

SrisonS has a nifty photo of a river maker sign at Two Rivers bend in the Rivers of America presumably taken from the Liberty Belle Riverboat, I have a river marker sign photo too but mine is the marker at Howling Wolf Bend over there by the Haunted Mansion of course.
while I've never taken a picture of Hubert Hayseeds Highwaters like TomPokNY did, but I did get a photo of Piano Man Marks socks one Christmas Season day over at the Magic Kingdom.

I've never seen the Voices of Liberty perform from the upper level like in the nifty photo Gdad posted, but as the Liberty Voices are GREAT about taking time to talk with the guests I caught Kevin (before he moved on to join the Dapper Dans) one time from the upper level in one of my favorite photos of any of the VOL.

ok now here's one of mine I have not seen one of anywhere, if you look in the windows of the feery boats that cross the Seven seas lagoon it's kind of hard to see, BUT if you HOLD your camera VERY STILL up against the glass for a LONG time so it can do a LOOOOOOOOOOONG exposure you can get a picture of the wheelhouse controls like the one below.

This restroom formely served the Pasta Piazza Ristorante in Epcots Communicore area, although the PPR is long closed it still serves as the restroom for this part of the Innoventions West building, that being the part with club cool, fountainview cafe, and the Epcot 25th anniversary exhibit hall in it.

Colorful, isn't it? For some reason the tiles in this restroom were an odd 5" x 5" size (instead of the typical 4 x 4), behind me (out of view) is the handicapped stall and dead end, across from the Handicapped stall is the Baby changing table. At the far end in the photo and to the right is the exit/entrance, just before that however, and on the left, I believe is an entance to a maintainance closet, and before that where the mirror is in this photo is a small hallway that leads to a short hallway containing the urinals for this restroom... it really is oddly laid out.

Working my way up to ten posts so I can add pictures. I am not sure I have any as unique as some of the images on this thread but I will post a few.

The past few trips I've taken a couple of pictures of the tip board in Africa, but this is NOT one of the whole board, you see most times I just zoomed in to take a photo of the right hand side to get the schedules of the live performers, that way I have the show times for these performers right on my camera, the first act listed "join Mor Thiam and become part of his safari band" is the group that you will see performing on the front porch of the Mombasa Marketplace (across from the Tusker House/ Kusafiri bakery window) in the mornings as we all flow by on our way to, and from, Kilimanjaro safaris, I took the opportunity on a recent trip to spend time watching him for a few sets, and noticed that the cast members who jhoin his band seem to rotate in and out a bit, I suspect that they are mostly general employees in the Harambe are whose supervisors encourage them to help out with the band when thier stores are not busy, some of them I have also spotted helping guests at the tip board too as part of thier rotation. The later set times for Mor Thiam are probably NOT at the Mombasa Marketplace, as I have also seen Mor Thiam playing with guests, at the drum stand area that is across from the Tamu Tamu refreshment cart near the beggining of the trail to Asia, though even in his eralier sets (at the aforementioned Mombasa Marketplace) he LOVES guest interaction and when they are perfoming as what he simply calls the "Safari People Band" there is a big basket of Rattles, shakers ,and even a cowbell that guests can pitch in to add to the music.

The second group listed "Tam Tams of Congo - playing next to Tamu Tamu" I actually have not seen play in that location they seem to perfom more frequently in the outdoor stage over between the Dawa Bar and the Tusker House, they too like guest interaction, and there is a video of me dancing with them on my youtube account

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41GgniKz5mw

The last group the acrobats are an amazing group of guys, that perform some feats of flexibility thoat would put a "Stretch Armstrong" rubber action figure toy to the test, let alone doing that to a human body! they also perfom on that same stage as the Tam tams of Congo over by the Dawa Bar/Tusker House.

There is Audio of Mor Thiam on two seperate episodes of my podcast
Episode 30 - Harambe Tag
http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/sn30.htm

and Episode 32 -Slowing DOWN at Disney's Animal Kingdom
http://www.bigbrian-nc.com/sn32.htm

and the Tam Tams of Congo perform too in that later one, (and you can even hear a little bit of the acrobats background music in part of it too (though not featured prominantly as it would take video to do them justice).

This is from October '05. They are interviewing Joe Rohde. It was probably for one of the Disney shows on the Travel Channel. I remember there was one about Animal Kingdom/ Expedition Everest.

Everest was in production in the background to the right.

The first one I took when we were waiting for our table at Tony's. I saw this lady sitting across the way from us with this remarkable tattoo! Of course, youngest DS was totally embarrassed when I said, "I have to get a picture of that"!:rotfl:

One of the trains blowing it's steam ... a test they perform each day before the train can go into service. It can only be seen from the Behind the Scenes Train Tour.

Let's see your unique photos, something you'd bet no one else has an example of (and if you do have an example, lets see that too).

I'll go first: shot from the Rocket Rods at Disneyland from about 8 years ago.

I have several like this one, but they are way before my digital days, grr...now I have to find them and scan them in....
