Walt Disney Corporation may not appreciate my mentioning this web site here one bit, but I am going to take the chance where I am most likely to encounter cast members. I have learned from someone who worked in a Disney store about a web site that looks like it would be entertaining for cast members who have lost touch and are looking for each other.
Are any of you familiar with a site called "hasbeens.com?" It seems to operate much like the web site my husband used years ago to look for his old classmates from high school. It was started by former cast members of Disneyland but now includes both current and former cast members of both Disneyland and Disney World.
I heard that they do charge a membership fee just like the site that my husband used to arrange a reunion with his former classmates. If it is not a huge sum, I am going to buy a membership for my acquaintance if employees of subsidiaries of Disney are allowed on the site. We aren't really close friends, but she is feeling sad that the chain of Disney stores is closing around here. It might make her feel better. I hope so.
